The interest of APSIPA encompasses but not limited signal and information processing, recognition, classification, communication, networking, computing, system design and implementation, security, and technology with applications to scientific, engineering, health, and social areas.
The 3rd APSIPA Sadaoki Furui Prize Paper Award will be presented in APSIPA ASC 2018 to Chung-Hsien Wu, Jen-Chun Lin, Wen-Li Wei, for their paper "Survey on audiovisual emotion recognition: databases, features, and data fusion strategies".

APSIPA ASC 2018 (www.apsipa2018.org) will be the tenth annual conference organized by the Asia Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association (APSIPA). Founded in 2009, APSIPA aims to promote research and education in signal processing, information technology, and communications. Annual conferences have been held previously in Sapporo, Japan (2009), Singapore (2010), Xi’an, China (2011), Los Angeles, USA (2012), Kaohsiung, Taiwan (2013), Siem Reap, Cambodia (2014), Hong Kong SAR (2015), Jeju, Korea (2016), and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2017). APSIPA is interested in all aspects of signal and information processing theory, algorithms, security, implementation, and applications. Please join us as we celebrate our tenth conference at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
