Today marks the beginning of Young Lungs Week.
Did you know that there are a number of lung conditions that can affect children? Diseases such as bronchiectasis and Childhood Interstitial Lung Disease (chILD) can impact children from as young as infancy, and for those caring for a child with a lung condition, it can often be an isolating and overwhelming experience.
While these conditions are rare, know that you aren't alone. Tell us your experience in the comments to share with other families and help us raise awareness about lung disease in children by sharing this post on your social media.

Did you know that anyone can get lung cancer?
There are a number of risk factors that can increase the risk of lung cancer, including smoking to***co, air pollution, family history, genetics, a personal history of lung disease, and exposure to cancer-causing agents at work.
A long-term investment in lung cancer prevention
and risk reduction will:
• Decrease the number of Australians diagnosed
with lung cancer each year
• Reduce lung cancer burden
• Reduce lung cancer deaths
• Reduce the growing costs of lung cancer treatment.
We're urging the Federal Government to invest in lung cancer this budget to help save Australian's lives with 6 key recommendations. You can read the more here: https://lungfoundation.com.au/blueprint/.
