我們很榮幸邀請焦立中博士在訪問香港期間與我們的家長和學生分享他的使命和願景。焦博士是美國太空總署(“NASA”)前太空人，國際太空站指揮官。除了在NASA的人文航天經驗之外，他還在學術界，政府實驗室以及商業企業和技術創業公司中廣泛開展工作。焦博士從來沒有厭倦回答有關他的“改變生活”太空冒險的問題。我們誠摯地邀請您參加本次活動。

Dr. Leroy Chiao is former astronaut and international space station commander of The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (“NASA”). In addition to his human spaceflight experience at NASA, he has also worked extensively in academia, government laboratories and in commercial ventures and technology startups. Dr. Chiao never gets tired of answering questions about his “life-changing’’ space adventures. We are honoured to have invited Dr. Chiao to share with our parents and students his mission and vision during his visit to Hong Kong. We cordially invite you to join this event.

維多利亞（何文田）國際幼兒園於5月6日舉辦了首個「親子航空探知日」，為家長、小朋友和教師們帶來一次奇妙的體驗。

是次活動反應熱烈，於報名首日上午已額滿並在活動當日錄得100%出席率！透過此次活動，我們認識了香港國際機場的主要功能及基本航空知識如辨認飛機種類及航空交通管制手勢等。活動由資深航空工程技術導師作導遊，帶領遊覧機場幾個主要範圍，包括貨運區及機場跑道 (禁區範圍之外) ，最後更到航空探知館欣賞不同型號的飛機及引擎模型。家長和小朋友都紛紛拍照留念，一起渡過了一個有意義又愉快的早上！

Victoria (Homantin) International Nursery was proud to organize an Aviation tour for the first time on 6 May, and it turned out to be an amazing experience for all parents, children and teachers. Enrolment was full within half a day and the attendance on the day was 100%! We learnt different types of airplanes and hand signals, as well as the importance of different functions in the airport. We got a close-up visit of the runway and the loading zone (outside the restricted area) during a beautiful sunny morning. Our last stop was the Aviation Discovery Centre where we got to see many plane models and different types of engines. All families were very impressed with this educational tour. We all had a lovely time and everyone headed home with a nice photographic souvenir booklet to commemorate the day.

PTA於復活節期間舉行了一年一度的親子訪台教育交流團。今年有接近100個家庭參加這次教育之旅。
這是一個行程緊湊且極具教育意義的遊學團，我們入住了六福莊生態渡假旅館，家長和小朋友們可以往窗外便可看見長頸鹿、斑馬、犀牛、象龜、環尾狐猴等動物。
今年，我們安排了跟臺灣大學附設幼兒園的小朋友及老師交流，乘小火車參觀動物園，DIY朱古力、書簽、風箏。在飛牛牧場親手擠牛奶、餵飼羊及白兔等小動物，手繪錢甖和自製冰淇淋。晚上還有互動話劇及小朋友都非常踴躍一展身手的才藝表演。我們還最後一天，登上陽明山！在濃霧中親手拔海竽（即馬蹄蘭），及參觀了極具啟發性的朱銘美術館。

這麼精彩的四天行程，眨眼間便過去了！我們十分感謝各位家長和小朋友們的參與。希望這個台北之旅能讓大家感到滿載而歸，樂而忘返，謝謝！

The PTA held an annual parent-child education exchange tour during Easter this year in Taiwan. There were around 100 families participating in this trip.
This was a highly educational tour packed with activities. The group stayed in the Leo Foo Resort Hotel - parents and children could see many animals kept in the resort including giraffes, zebras, rhinoceros, turtles, ring tail lemurs from the hotel rooms’ windows and balconies.
This year, we arranged a visit to the Kindergarten of the National Taiwan University, where teachers and students of the two schools played and learnt together. Other activities included riding a train/ bus to see wild animals while visiting the zoo, making chocolate/ bookmarks/ kites during various activities. The group also visited a ranch where the children had the chance to milk the cows, feed the sheep/ rabbit/ other small animals, hand-paint ceramics and make ice cream! At night there was an interactive drama show and the children were very enthusiastic to show their talents. On the last day, the group climbed the Yang Ming Mountain where children pulled “sea taro” from the soil. The trip ended with a visit to the highly inspiring Zhu Ming Museum.

Time flies and the wonderful four days passed very quickly! The PTA is very grateful to the parents and children for their participation. Hope that this trip to Taipei was enjoyable and unforgettable for everyone, thank you!

親子愛心探訪保良局（2017年5月13日）

承蒙各家長對社會服務一直支持，維多利亞幼兒園暨幼稚園家長教師會將於2017年5月13日（星期六）舉辦「親子愛心探訪保良局」，希望我們小組班至高班的孩子能透過是次參觀、玩攤位遊戲和致送禮物，從而學會珍惜、分享及關懷他人，並為局童帶來一個溫馨愉快的早上。我們鼓勵家長陪同子女出席是次活動。詳情如下：

探訪地點：香港銅鑼灣禮頓道66號保良局
日期： 2017年5月13日(星期六)
活動時間：早上10時至下午1時半 (參觀時段由10時30分開始, 每節約45分鐘, 請於網上登記時選擇時段)
費用：每位港幣200元及行政費50元 (會員) 或100元 (非會員)
(除上述行政費外，所有善款將會悉數撥捐予保良局。）

Visit to Po Leung K*k on 13th May 2017

The Victoria PTA is organising a visit to Po Leung K*k (PLK) for all PN-K3 students and their families on 13th May 2017 (Saturday). This will be a meaningful event for everyone, especially our children, as they learn how to share and take care of those in need. You will get a chance to go on a guided tour of PLK to visit their learning centre, dormitory, campus TV and more as well as participating in activities such as booth games and message writing for the children of PLK. Details as follows:

Visiting Venue: Po Leung K*k, 66 Leighton Road, Causeway Bay.
Date : Saturday, 13th May 2017
Time : 10:00am – 1:30pm (First Tour session runs from 1030am at every 15mins interval til 1245pm, app. 45mins each, please select your preferred session during registration)

Fee: A donation of $200 per person and an admin fee of $50 (PTA member) or $100 (non-PTA member)

趁著復活節假期前夕，銅鑼灣維多利亞幼稚園於上周六舉辦了首個「復活節親子盆栽創作坊」，希望為各位家長和小朋友加多一點新意，以不一樣的形式迎接復活節的來臨。

在這個親子工作坊裡，逾60位家長和子女一起運用不同顏色的彩沙、碎石和裝飾品，製作出獨一無二的美麗盆栽，而且容易打理，為家裡帶來多一點繽紛的點綴！

As Easter is fast approaching, Causeway Bay Victoria Kindergarten hosted its first Easter Plant Jamming Workshop last Saturday. It's a good opportunity for the parents to try something different with their children for the festive celebration.

In this workshop, over 60 parents and children created their own unique Easter themed plant with all sorts of materials such as multi-coloured sand, pebbles and accessories. The plant is easy to take care of and is perfect for home decoration.

PTA於4月1日在數碼港首次舉行「小小探險家尋寶日」的親子活動，讓家長可以和孩子一起探索一起學習。
IB課程其中一個特色是讓學生在富有趣味和互動的過程中學習，這次活動目的是希望帶孩子和家長們一起走出課室，讓他們在IB課程學到的事物及知識能夠學以致用。活動以「環遊世界」為主題，透過遊戲學習和實踐世界不同的知識（包括：不同國家及其語言、地標、服裝和標誌...等等)。當日有超過500多名家長和小朋友出席活動，家長們和小朋友一起探索，看見他們的歡笑臉，這次活動能夠成功舉行，有賴君匯港校舍的PTA家長理事、教職員和一眾家長義工的幫忙。現獻上當日活動的花絮與大家分享 :)

The PTA has launched the first parent-child Treasure Hunt event in Cyperbport on Apr 1. The topic of the activity is “Be an IB Student; Be a Little Explorer”, the objective of the event is to let the children explore what they have learnt in school under the IB curriculum through fun and engaging activities. We have designated the main theme to be “Travel Around the World” to reinforce children's understanding of different countries and their languages, iconic landmarks, costumes, national symbols, food, and more. The event was a big success, with over 500 participants on that day. All kids were excited to complete different game booths to obtain stamps in their very own little explorer passport. Thank you to the designer who helped to create the special Victoria bears, special thanks to HG school team and wonderful parent volunteers who have contributed endless effort in making this event success.

亦可為「無止橋慈善基金」(www.bridgetochina.org.hk，香港註冊的慈善團體，旨在鼓勵香港和內地大學生及專業人士，義務為貧困農村設計和修建便橋和村莊設施，同時也建立起人與人之間的心橋) 和
「愛基金有限公司」(www.lovefoundation.org.hk，關愛國內農村留守兒童之慈善團體)籌募經費，延續「心橋無止，以愛同行」的精神。
