This coming semester, Aiden will join the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 (𝗚𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀).

Driven by a passion for the law and a commitment to promoting access to justice for vulnerable members of society, Aiden is eager to explore the connections between law, government and society through the interdisciplinary GLaws curriculum.

We are delighted to share that Prof Tatia Lee, Chair Professor of Psychological Science and Clinical Psychology, May Endowed Professor in Neuropsychology, Department of Psychology, has been awarded funding under the 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥'𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 (𝐒𝐓𝐆) 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞.

Her project, RADIANCE (Risk Assessment of Depression and Intervention for Ageing Needs, Challenges, and Empowerment System), aims to harness AI to support the emotional health of older adults through innovative assessment and intervention approaches.

His project, “𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚,” will develop next-generation AI tools that combine satellite observations, maps and geospatial data to generate real-time socioeconomic indicators.
