the social and ethical implication between man and manmade, in an elementary level treatment. The students who enrol this course will be able to design their first creative and imaginable robot using the LEGO MINDSTORM tool, and participate in the in-class discussions. Moreover, the basic engineering conceptual knowledge, the practical robot design tools, the ethical issues about using robot will be all covered. The students will be assessed by assignments, quizzes, and project presentation to demonstrate their newly acquired knowledge. It is an introductory course to enrich students’ creativity and personal development, and also have a brief understanding about the ethical and social implications of Human and Robot interactions.
