Stories came to life through creativity and hands-on discovery in the final week of Summer Camp. ✨📚

Inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, our campers put imagination, innovation, and problem-solving to the test.

Throughout the week, students crafted paper mâché piggy banks, transformed recycled paper pulp into handmade journals, and explored the story’s themes through creative activities.Along the way, they built perseverance and confidence as their ideas took shape.

As Summer Camp comes to a close, we’re so proud of everything our students accomplished over the past five weeks. Thank you for an unforgettable summer filled with curiosity, growth, and joy! 🌟

The natural world is one of the best classrooms there is. 🌿

For Week 4 of Summer Camp, “The Voice of Nature,” our campers plunged into ecosystems, biodiversity, and the interconnected web of life through hands-on discovery!

From exploring the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens to observing local plants on nature walks and building their own ecosystem models, students turned curiosity into real scientific exploration. Along the way, they sharpened their observation, critical thinking, and teamwork, bridging the gap between classroom theory and the world around them. 🔍💡

Every activity inspired them to look a little closer, ask deeper questions, and cultivate a genuine care for our environment.

As we head into our final week of Summer Camp, we can’t wait to see what new discoveries await! ✨🌱

Something changes when children enter the elementary years. Their world gets bigger, and so do their questions. 💡

Between ages 6 and 12, they are developing powerful reasoning minds. They want to understand why things happen, explore how ideas connect, work alongside others, and take greater ownership of their learning.

What happens when students are encouraged to question, experiment, and try again? 🤖🔬

Week 3 of AIP Summer Camp, “Programmed to Adapt,” challenged students to think like scientists and innovators. Inspired by The Wild Robot, the week blended nature, technology, and creativity as campers explored themes of friendship, adaptation, and ecosystems.

The adventure wrapped up at the Hong Kong Science Museum, bringing these concepts to life and helping students connect what they had learned with the world around them.

By the end of the week, students had strengthened their problem-solving skills, embraced new ways of thinking, and experienced the excitement of learning through curiosity and experimentation.

Three weeks down, and there’s still so much more to discover. We can’t wait to see what Week 4 has in store! ✨

Week 2 of our Summer Camp brought even bigger adventures, bolder ideas, and plenty of "let's try it!" moments. ☀️📖

This week, our campers continued their journey through stories by turning imagination into action. They worked together to solve challenges, created ocean-inspired artwork, explored hands-on cooking, enjoyed outdoor games, and discovered that every activity became more meaningful when curiosity led the way.

Whether they were crafting, experimenting, sharing ideas with friends, or exploring beyond the classroom, each experience encouraged children to think creatively, collaborate with confidence, and embrace new perspectives. Because the best summer memories aren't just made through fun, they're built through the confidence that comes with trying something new.

Week 2 may be complete, but the adventure is just beginning. We can't wait to see where the next chapter takes our campers. 💙

What an adventure the first week of AIP Summer Camp has been! 🌟

Inspired by Journey to the West, our campers spent the week following a path of exploration, creativity, and discovery. They experimented with shadow art, mapped their own epic journeys, explored the fascinating world of primates, and ventured beyond the classroom to discover Hong Kong through fresh eyes.

Every activity encouraged our students to ask big questions, solve problems, and make meaningful connections between classical literature, culture, nature, and the world around them. Along the way, they built new friendships, embraced new challenges, and discovered that learning can be its own great adventure.

In our primary community, classic stories serve as a launchpad for deep, multi-disciplinary exploration. By bringing literature to life, our camp allows students to sharpen their analytical skills, creativity, and real-world independence.

Sometimes the most meaningful gifts are the ones made by hand. 💙

Last month, our students celebrated Father’s Day by putting their creativity to work, designing and decorating cards for the special father figures in their lives. Each button, ribbon, drawing, and message was chosen with care, turning a simple craft activity into an opportunity to express appreciation and gratitude.

While Father’s Day gives us a beautiful reason to celebrate, the true lesson for our primary students goes far beyond a single calendar date. Cultivating gratitude is a daily practice in our community. Through projects like these, students learn to notice, articulate, and honor the support of their families every single day of the year.

The real result? Heartfelt creations, plenty of proud smiles, and a deeper, everyday connection shared with family. ✨

What better way to learn about a tradition than to make it yourself? 🌿

This Dragon Boat Festival, our students learned how to prepare zongzi, carefully filling, folding, and wrapping each one by hand.

As they worked, they explored the history and significance behind this beloved festive food while developing concentration, coordination, and attention to detail. Through the process, a cultural tradition became something they could experience firsthand, not just read about. In our primary classroom, this type of purposeful work is where practical life skills naturally support development. The exact precision required to secure the leaf helps build a child’s spatial awareness, hand strength, and independence.

Seeing their zongzi come together was every bit as rewarding as the final result. After all, true confidence begins when students realize they can master complex, real-world skills with their own hands. 🥢✨

What if imagination had a taste?

Week 5 invites students into a world where creativity and curiosity are the main ingredients. From exploring the history of sugar and cacao to experimenting with recipes and designing their own edible creations, students experience what it means to take an idea all the way from concept to reality. Part science, part art, and entirely delicious.
