🔺 Discovering Triangles Through Angles
In our math class, children are exploring how triangles can be understood and classified through their angles. Right-angled, obtuse, and acute are not just new words, but ways for children to recognize how triangles differ and how angles define each shape.
Through hands-on work, our children are introduced to the nomenclature of triangles according to their angles. By observing, comparing, and identifying each type, they begin to see how small differences in angles create entirely different triangles. They also connect this understanding to other properties by reading definitions, matching them to the correct forms, and working with cut-out shapes to organize their findings with care. ✂️
At the same time, children practice drawing triangles in their notebooks, carefully forming each type and shading the angles. This process makes their thinking visible and supports a clearer understanding of how angles shape each triangle. ✏️
These moments are not about memorizing terms, but about learning to observe, compare, and classify. Through repetition and focused work, children begin to recognize patterns and build confidence in their mathematical thinking.
At AIP, geometry is something children construct through experience, allowing abstract ideas to become clear, meaningful, and lasting. 🤍📐

🦁 Discovering the Animal Kingdom Through Biology
In our biology class, children are exploring how living things are understood, observed, and classified.
They were introduced to how animals can be grouped based on what they eat. Herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores became more than just new words. They became a way to understand how animals live, survive, and interact with the world around them.
With curiosity and intention, our children searched through books, identifying animals and carefully recording each one. One by one, animals were placed under the correct category, building a clear and meaningful understanding through hands-on work.
These moments are not about memorizing information. They are about building scientific thinking. Children learn to observe carefully, recognize patterns, and organize knowledge in a way that makes sense to them.
At AIP, biology is experienced through exploration. Children ask questions, seek answers, and discover how everything in the natural world is connected.

🎨 What if imagination could turn the ordinary into something extraordinary?
In our classroom, art becomes a space for both creativity and meaning. Inspired by Brazilian artist Vik Muniz and his Pictures of Garbage series, our students explored how everyday materials can be transformed into something expressive and thoughtful.
With focus and intention, they carefully worked on the final details of their pieces—arranging colors, shapes, and textures with care. Each choice reflects not only creativity, but also problem-solving, patience, and a growing sense of artistic awareness.
Through this process, students begin to understand that art is more than creating something beautiful—it is about perspective, reimagining what already exists, and discovering how even the simplest materials can hold new possibilities in the hands of a thoughtful creator.
Moments like these nurture independence, concentration, and confidence, inviting our students to see the world with curiosity and intention.

🌸 A Morning of Color and Care
In our classroom, the arrival of spring was welcomed through a calm and purposeful art activity. With brushes in hand, our students carefully painted their own Easter eggs, exploring color, movement, and creativity.
Each movement was intentional. As they held the eggs and applied paint with care, they refined their hand-eye coordination, control, and concentration. Some explored blending colors, while others worked slowly and thoughtfully, observing how each detail took shape.
Beyond the beauty of the final pieces, this moment was about the process — an opportunity to practice patience, build focus, and experience the quiet satisfaction of working with one’s hands.
Through simple, hands-on experiences like this, our students not only express themselves but also build confidence and pride in their work.
A gentle celebration of the season, filled with color, creativity, and meaningful moments 🌿🤍

🍃 Nature has its own patterns waiting to be discovered.
In this activity, students observed different types of leaf veins and practiced drawing them in simple, clear ways. By tracing and classifying these natural structures, they begin to see how even the smallest details in nature have their own order and beauty.
It’s a reminder that science often begins with careful observation. 🌱

What makes something sink or float?
In our science experiment, students explored this question by testing how clay behaves in water. They observed that the same material can sink or float depending on how it’s shaped, and then explained their findings to classmates.
Every investigation like this opens the door to new questions, encouraging students to keep exploring the world with curiosity. 🌍🔍

💡 How do children progress from counting tangible objects to comprehending abstract mathematical concepts?
Through the use of the Large Bead Frame, students at AIP move systematically from concrete experiences to abstract reasoning. This material supports both addition and multiplication, allowing children to perform multi‑digit operations with visual and tactile precision—associating each numeral with a corresponding bead representation. With consistent exploration, they progress from simple calculations to more complex equations, internalising the relationships among numbers, place value, and operations in a meaningful way.
At AIP, mathematics is not merely about finding solutions; it is a process of cultivating independence, logical thinking, and a genuine appreciation for the beauty of numbers.

🌿🤾♂️ Every movement tells a story of growth.
In our outdoor PE lesson, students explored mindful breathing, teamwork challenges, and problem-solving games that stretched both their bodies and minds. Whether guiding a classmate, solving a challenge as a team, or building focus through movement, each activity connected physical skills with confidence and collaboration.
These are the lessons that carry beyond the field—into the classroom and everyday life.
