A new venture at HKDI – a podcast channel!

HKDI Sparkle Studio is Hong Kong Design Institute’s official student-run bilingual podcast channel. Created by students for students, the channel explores what makes people sparkle. Students, educators, alumni, and other creative practitioners are invited onto the channel to share stories on their creative lives.

For our first episode, we invited Daniel Szuc and Josephine Wong, co-founders of the Make Meaningful Work platform, UX Hong Kong and Apogee Asia, as well as HKDI student Charles Yiu and Youth College (International) student Bryan Chiu to share their thoughts on what design is. They are TEDxHKDI speakers who will take the stage on 4 September at 2pm at the Hong Kong Design Institute.

展覽以書籍製作的檔案資料，展現出圖文書創作過程中的各個階段，包括從構思到編輯、設計、製作以及傳播。由香港知專設計學院和STORY共同策展，展覽將展出多項具代表性、關於香港視覺文化的圖文書，包括黃炳培（又一山人）的經典作品《無處不在紅白藍》，建築師張智強的《我的32平方米私宅》，攝影藝術家余偉建的《我住石硤尾》，以及城市設計師兼藝術家Peter Cookson Smith的《街道與空間——變奏中的香港城市設計》等作品。
