The Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists The College is responsible for the training and certification of specialist anaesthesiologists in Hong Kong.

The College is responsible for the training and certification of specialist anaesthesiologists in Hong Kong; and also the inspection and accreditation of the training units for anaesthesiology in Hong Kong. The College is also responsible for the professional examination in anaesthesiology. The College is also responsible for the Fellowship training in Intensive Care Medicine and Pain Medicine. Trainees who have satisfactory accomplished the training requirements, will be awarded the Fellowship in Intensive Care, FHKCA (Intensive Care) and Fellowship in Pain Medicine respectively.

The Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists (HKCA), the Hong Kong College of Physicians (HKCP), and the Jockey Club Institute for Medical Education and Development (JCIMED) jointly hosted a Workplace Based Assessment (WBA) workshop on last Saturday.
A total of 15 participants from two colleges joined this interactive session, engaging in hands on practice and discussion.
Heartfelt thanks to all our dedicated faculty members for their generous teaching and insightful sharing, which made this workshop a truly enriching experience.

An Advanced Anaesthesia Nursing Training Course, jointly organised by the Macau Association of Anaesthesiologists, Conde S. Januário Hospital in Macau, and the POM Committee of the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists, was held in Macau over the weekend.

In addition to facilitating knowledge exchange and supporting the professional development of anaesthesia nurses, the event marked an important first step towards strengthening collaboration within the anaesthesia community across the Greater Bay Area.
