We were delighted to host an evening of cocktails and canapés with Iona Hutchinson, Director of Admissions at Charterhouse, this week. 🥂

During an engaging discussion with families and students, Iona reflected on the longstanding connection between Charterhouse and Hong Kong, shared her excitement about meeting BE and Wycombe Abbey students during interviews the following day, and spoke about the school's distinctive approach to student wellbeing.

One topic that particularly resonated was Charterhouse's policy of allowing only 'brick phones' during the early years of senior school. 📵 Designed to protect young teenagers from the pressures of social media, the initiative encourages pupils to build meaningful friendships and engage fully in school life.
