WYCHK English Debating Team

The team saw off PLKCKY in the quarters of the tournament before completing a double over DGS to reach the finals this Thursday at CUHK at 5pm. Congrats and good luck!

The junior team managed to break 3rd at this years Junior SDC after topping Diocesan Boys School, Diocesan Girls School and Marymount Secondary School in the preliminaries. All speakers qualified for the speaker break also clinched individual awards with Yue Chung Hin taking 5th spot with an average of 71.83 and Arthur Chan taking 6th spot with an average of 71.67. The team will take on PLKCKY in the quarters for a semi final spot on Monday at RCHK at 430. Congrats and good luck!

We are proud to announce that the WYHKEDT has taken the debate with an overwhelming difference of 18 marks. The best speaker was Ethan Hurip. We thank Mr. Wong for his dedication and Mr. Cyrus Chow for his encouraging comments. Let's support the senior team in attempt to sn**ch their first win soon in the 1st round.

Registration for the WYCHK English Debating Team (2015-16) is now up. Please be noted that this year we will be enforcing the rule that we are a school team and not a training course. Please make sure you are willing to devote your time. We will be conducting interviews over the post exam periods for those who wouldn't want to wait till next year.
