Happy Lantern Festival! 元宵节快乐!🏮 🌕 ✨

March 3rd, 2026 marks the 15th day of the first lunar month and the first full moon of the lunar year! This festival is all about light, completion, and gathering with the ones you love.

🍡 Why We Eat Tangyuan (汤圆) 😋✨
These delicious glutinous rice balls are a traditional treat. Here’s why:

• Family Unity (团团圆圆): They symbolize family reunion, harmony, and happiness. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

• Homophones for Luck (圆满): The word ”Yuan“ (round) sounds like ”Tuanyuan“ (reunion) and ”Yuanman“ (completeness) in Chinese. 🤝

• Beautiful Imagery (天上明月,碗里汤圆): There is a poetic saying: ”A full moon in the sky, and Tangyuan in the bowl.“ When they float to the surface of the soup, they resemble bright full moons. 🌌🥣

Wishing you and your family a night filled with sweetness and togetherness! ✨

🧧 Ready to boost your prosperity for Chinese New Year? 🌟🥠

Welcome luck into your home! Our Feng Shui series continues with tips to turn your space into a magnet for positive energy during the Year of the Horse! 🐎🔥

Let’s explore the best arrangements for your home:

🚪The Entrance (玄关 - xuán guān): Post the “Fu” character (福字) upright on your front door to welcome blessings and good fortune directly into your home! 💰

🛋️ Living Room (客厅 - kè tīng): This is your “wealth-gathering field”! Ensure your sofa has a solid wall or a landscape painting behind it to provide a “solid backing” (有靠) for stability. 🖼️

🔄 Hidden Luck: Place the “Fu” character upside down (倒贴) in the kitchen. The “upside-down Fu” sounds like “fortune has arrived” (福到)!

Wishing everyone a prosperous, auspicious, and high-spirited Year of the Horse (马年 mǎ nián)! 🐴✨

In Chinese culture, the horse is much more than just an animal; it is a powerful symbol of auspiciousness (吉祥 jí xiáng), striving (奋斗 fèn dòu) and good luck (好运 hǎo yùn) 🥠

📜The Horse in Chinese Culture & Allusions:

伯乐相马 (bó lè xiāng mǎ): This famous allegory refers to a discerning person who can recognize talented individuals, just as the expert could identify a legendary horse 🐎

春风得意马蹄鸣 (chūn fēng dé yì mǎ tí míng): This poetic imagery describes riding high on the spring breeze, where the sound of the horse's hooves rings out to signal joy and success 💯

Whether you are striving for a promotion, a new language breakthrough, or personal happiness, may you have the energy and luck of a galloping horse! 🏇🚀

📍来 (lái) — to come; to arrive
It usually means moving toward the speaker.

“Come quickly!”

But it can also mean:

“A plate of dumplings, please.”

👫 2. To be going to (offering help or initiating)

“Let me help you clean up!”

📊 3. Approximately (used with numbers)

“There are about 30 students in our class.”

📄 4. To appear / happen
