Our children have enjoyed learning about and celebrating this special festival through a range of activities, including mooncake making, origami and other creative experiences.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 for joining us and helping to make these experiences so meaningful and enjoyable for the children. It was lovely to celebrate, learn and create together as a community. 💛

🌟 𝐀 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 🌟

What a fantastic start to the new school year! Our new K1 children are settling in extremely well and are becoming familiar with their teachers, classmates, routines and learning spaces.

Our K2 children have also settled straight back into their routines without missing a beat. It has been wonderful to see them return with confidence and enthusiasm, ready for another year of learning and growth.

We are incredibly proud of all our children and how they have embraced their first week at Hillside. Thank you to our families for your trust and support, and to our amazing team for helping every child feel safe, happy and welcome.

We look forward to a joyful year of learning together! 💛

We are excited to announce that applications for K1 entry in August 2027 will be open from 1-30 September.

☀️ 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 💦

What a perfect way to end the term! Our 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 was filled with laughter, excitement, and lots of splashing as the children enjoyed playful moments together.
It was wonderful to see the children having so much fun with their friends — a joyful and refreshing way to wrap up the school year.

A big thank you to our 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 for the care and effort put into organising such a special day for the children.

🎉✨ Party Day Magic! ✨🎉
What a day! Our children filled the school with giggles, color, and music as they made tasty treats,had their faces transformed into dazzling designs by our talented teachers, and danced their hearts out with friends and teachers. 💃🕺🍪🎨Party Day is such a joyful way to wrap up the school year — a celebration of friendship, creativity, and fun. 🌈💫
And guess what? The excitement continues… 💦 Water Fun Day is next! We’re ready for splashes, laughter, and more unforgettable memories with friends.

🌟 Thank you to all our K1 families for joining our Celebration of Learning Arts Day 🎨 Your support and participation made the day truly special for our children and teachers.

It was a joy to see the children proudly share their learning with you. Throughout the unit “How We Express Ourselves,” they have been exploring new ways to communicate, trying different forms of artistic expression, and developing so many new skills.
As we wrap up the K1 school year, this event was a wonderful opportunity for the children to showcase their creative selves. Their courage, imagination, and pride in their work remind us of how much they have grown.

Seeing the joy and pride on everyone’s faces means so much to our community. By working together, we have given our children a joyful and enriching learning experience. Thank you for being such wonderful partners in their journey.

Over the past few weeks, our children have been engaging in a range of dragon boat–inspired activities during their Chinese lessons. From hands‑on experiences to learning about the traditions behind the festival, it has been a meaningful way to connect with culture, language, and celebration.

Through these experiences, children deepen their understanding of traditions while cultivating curiosity and appreciation for the world around them.
