Sports Association 唔係一支細莊，我地都有好多活動要搞，其中一個大型活動當然係Intramural 啦，我地要搞下比賽俾department soc 參加。

2019-2020 HKUST INTRAMURAL CAMPUS RUN KICKS OFF THIS YEAR’S INTRAMURAL SPORTS COMPETITIONS

The 2019-2020 Intramural Campus Run, jointly organized by Sports Association, HKUSTSU and The Distance Runners' Club, was held Thursday, 26 September 2019. The officiation of the race around 6:20PM was held by civil engineering Professor Ben CHAN, Resident Master of UG Hall II and notable alumnus of HKUST. A total of 144 runners participated in the event.
The closing prize ceremony was held in the atrium afterwards.

In addition to the hard work and collaboration of the Sports Association, Distance Runners' Club and Chief Officials from the DSTO, the smoothness of the event was facilitated by the 36 UG students who served as volunteer helpers.
The 144 participants in the event included male and female, local and nonlocal, undergraduate and post-graduate students, representing 12 departmental teams in the competition.

[2019-2020 HKUST ISC Aquatic Meet]
29/9 (Sunday) was the 19-20 ISC Aquatic Meet, thanks to the support by The Dean of Students’ Office and student helpers, the event was held successfully. There were more than 100 swimmers participated in 16 events, all participated swimmers have shown impressive sportsmanship and competitiveness throughout the whole event, which have brought the competition to the next level. Special thanks must be given to Prof. Shang Chii for being our Guest-Of-Honour for the closing ceremony and giving us a speech encouraging the sports development of the HKUST community. Hope you all enjoyed the event and see you again next year.

足球Intra 終於黎到尾聲啦! 😁冠亞季軍🏆就會起3月26號誕生，冠軍賽會起當日6點45分開始，而季軍賽會起當日5點15分舉行。想睇下科大soc既高水平足球就要黎啦，為你地心意的球隊打下氣啦，到時見!

The Championship and the consolation match will both be held on next Tuesday (26/3). Come to Fok Ying Tung Sports Ground (ASP) and support the your favorite team, let see your choice is it correct. The game for third place will be start at 17:15 while the championship will be start at 18:45.

2月24日壁球隊經過一輪激烈的比賽，女子組有球員身體不適，但仍然打出照水準的表現。更有其中一場男子比賽令全場觀眾圍觀，科大的球員利用戰術同策略令對手打得相當吃力，更於一場比賽中令5塊球拍斷線，可想言之，球員每揮一次球拍都是用盡全力。令球隊得到以下成績：
男子組： 季軍
女子組： 殿軍

Congratulation to Squash Team!

On 24th Feb, our Squash Team played a wonderful match at LG4 Squash Court, demonstrating great sportsmanship and perseverance. Competing with strong opponents, they strived for their best, and the final result is :

Men Squash Team: 2nd runner-up
Women Squash Team: 4th place

除咗女足季軍戰之外, 仲有好多比賽進行緊!!

禮拜日有我哋嘅男子籃球隊6:30pm對中大, 地點係香港浸會大學偉衡體育中心! 記得去支持啦!

仲有壁球隊1:30四強喺科大主場, 如果你喺科大校園或者附近, 記得支持壁球隊啦!

另外, 劍擊隊會一連兩日喺香港大學何世光夫人體育館打大專!劍隊加油!

Other than our 1st-runner-up match for Women’s football, we also have a lot of competitions going on!!

We have our men’s basketball team facing CUHK at 6:30pm. The match will take place at Wai Hang Sports Center, HKBU. Remember to go and support our athletes!

We also have our Squash Team in the Semi-finals, with home court advantage facing opponents at 2pm HKUST! Come around and support if you are around the campus!

In addition, our fencing team will play for consecutive days during the weekend to fight for the USFHK at HKU Flora Ho Sports Centre. Let’s go Fencing Team!
