Nowadays, it’s important to understand people’s physical health needs, their emotional needs and their social circumstances. This can help us to appreciate each person’s unique circumstances and work in joined up ways to find solutions.

This programme provides an up-to-date curriculum, drawing upon regional expertise and national and international research, and prepares students to take up employment in the integrated care sector, and for embedding research-informed learning. Students will develop personal, professional and academic skills for practice in an effective and respectful way, with other professionals, communities and individuals who are living with multiple and complex issues that affect their health and wellbeing.

You won’t simply learn the theory behind integrating health and social care, you’ll explore how it works in practice from working with service users to designing service provision. Topics might include how unevenly distributed resources across society affect a person’s life, how the support and care a person needs changes as they age or how to recognize a person’s strengths to make a difference to their life.

異常心理學乃心理學範疇內眾多分支中重要的一環。隨着科學化的研究及臨床的體驗，我們對異常行為有更深入的暸解和認識，而『異常』的涵義也隨文明的演進而改變。

此課程旨在讓參予者對異常心理學有初步入門認識，探討各異常情况的成因，了解心理評估及處理方法。內容包括兒童及成人常見之異常行為，如各種發展障礙，自閉、專注力失調及過度活躍、焦慮、壓力、身心連繫症、抑鬱、思覺失調、性格障礙、濫藥、飲食失調、性障礙及異常、和腦退化等。

心理學是研究人們行為及思維的一門學問。心理學家嘗試透過研究結果，描述、解釋及預測人的行為及思想，從而改變或改善人的生活及他們周圍的環境。心理學的應用層面廣泛，其中包括教學、輔導、健康及社區服務、管理及培訓、市場推廣等。

你是否期望孩子擁有積極的生活態度？期望孩子在升學的壓力下，也還能保持良好的身心健康？

本課程是特別為兒童教育工作者及家長而設計，引用教練學來有效啟發學員如何從孩子的角度理解孩子，從而控制自己的情緒及訓練孩子的情緒智商(EQ)。「兒童情緒智商教練學」就是要求父母或照顧者摒棄「家長」的權威心態，改以「教練」角色與孩子溝通相處。借用教練理論，提升處理兒童的情緒的知識和技巧。

本課程嘗試運用成長心理學及教育心理學的角度出發，探討教育的目的，過程與作用．並附以最新的研究發展作為參考。
教育既包括學校教育，也包括家庭教育和社會教育。然而，人一般都是透過學校獲得知識和學習道德品格。因此，我們常說的「教育心理學」主要是研究學生、教師及教育工作者在學校教育過程中的心理現象。到底心理學與教育怎樣互相影響?

課程目的:

完成課程後，學員能夠：
1.對教育心理學有基礎的認識；
2.明白教與學的基本理論；
3.明白成長心理學與教育的關係

正向心理學近年對於「快樂之道」及「啟發潛能及改善心理素質」作出大量研究。本課程除重點講解此方面心理學之理念及研究結果外，亦會邀請醫療，社工，法律及藝術界朋友分享正向心理在他們生活工作上之應用，以助參加者了解及發揮個人正面之心理素質，做個開心快樂人。

社會科學包括社會、經濟、政治、法律、教育、心理、語言、文化及社會工作等學科。本課程是令從事學術研究的學員了解不同類型的社會科學研究原理、目的、概念、問題和道德規範，搜集正確資料的技巧，檢索及選用合適的文獻，判斷資料內容的真確和可靠性，通過質與量的研究，撰寫內容和結構恰當的學術文章/報告/論文，並協助學員開展研究計劃。導師將為每名學員的研究專案提供意見。
