🤩 Today’s IGCSE and A-Level Options Information Session was full of conversation, questions and excitement as students began exploring the subjects that could shape their next steps.

Our Year 9 and Year 11 students had the opportunity to speak with Prefects and Heads of Department, gaining valuable first-hand perspectives on different courses, learning experiences and possible pathways.

Choosing subjects is an important decision that deserves careful thought. We encourage every student to consider what genuinely interests them, where their strengths lie and how their choices may support their future aspirations.🤩

☕ Thank you to all the Secondary parents who joined SIPTA’s Coffee Morning today.

It was a lovely opportunity to connect, share ideas and enjoy meaningful conversations about our school community. Parents also learned more about SIPTA’s ongoing contributions and exchanged thoughts on how we can continue working together to support our students and school.

We are grateful to everyone who took the time to attend, and to SIPTA for hosting such a warm and welcoming morning. We look forward to seeing our parent community at future events! 🥰

🦦🌿 Last Thursday, our Year 4 students explored the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens as part of their learning journey for the Integrated Studies unit, The Nature of Life. Working in house teams, they observed animal and plant species from around the world, deepening their understanding of biodiversity, adaptation, ecosystems, and the interconnectedness of life.

Students travelled to the Gardens by MTR from KIS. This authentic experience allowed them to practise independence, responsibility, and respect for our community while demonstrating KIS values in a public setting. 💪

Through guided exploration and inquiry, our young learners sharpened their observation and critical thinking skills while developing a deeper appreciation for the natural world and the importance of conservation. It was an educational and memorable day that truly brought classroom learning to life! 🤩

A huge thank you to our dedicated Year 4 teachers, TAs, and parent volunteers for their support, guidance, and care in making this trip safe, smooth, and meaningful for every student. 🥰👏👏

🏃‍♂️💪 Last week, our Secondary students embraced an exciting week of fitness, teamwork, and personal challenge during PE Week at Korean International School!

Students took part in the Hyrox Challenge, working in pairs to complete a series of demanding activities, including the SkiErg, Assault Bike, burpees, farmer's carry, and wall balls. They showed impressive determination, encouraged their partners, and pushed themselves to achieve their best times. ⏱️

PE Week continued with the Recovery Challenge, where students had the opportunity to test their resilience by taking part in a two-minute ice bath. Under the supervision of staff, participants demonstrated courage, focus, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones. ❄️

Well done to all our students for taking part and showing such excellent teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship throughout the week! A special thank you to our PE Department for organising an exciting week of challenges and opportunities that encouraged our students to challenge themselves, stay active, and develop lifelong healthy habits. 🏅

✨ On Wednesday evening, we warmly welcomed our Springboard families to our annual Springboard Parents’ Evening.

The event began with a few words from Springboard leadership, who shared programme updates and plans for the year ahead. This was followed by a collective reflection on our vision and mission, and then class presentations and special activities led by our amazing homeroom teams.

It was a joy to connect with parents as we walked through classrooms and learning spaces, admired children’s work, and explored curriculum goals and exciting upcoming events. The session also opened space for parents’ questions and feedback, further strengthening the partnership between home and school.
A heartfelt thank you to every family who joined us. Here’s to a fruitful and inspiring year ahead! 🎉
