We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to share some monumental news with you all! Following a rigorous evaluation by the International Curriculum Association (ICA), our Primary Section has officially been awarded Recognition status for both our IEYC and IPC programs! Achieving Recognition status is so much more than a milestone—it is a powerful, official validation of the care, quality and exceptional standard of learning that happens in our classrooms every single day. It firmly proves that our curriculum and teaching practices are operating at a truly world-class level. This incredible triumph belongs to all of us!

Our Deepest Gratitude:
🔵To our amazing students and supportive parents: Your passion and active involvement throughout this process were the heart and soul of our success.
🔴To our phenomenal Primary teachers and the PLTA: Thank you for your tireless dedication, deep expertise, and the boundless energy you poured into this collaborative effort. You inspire us daily.

🔎What's Next? - As part of our commitment to never stop growing, we are excited to receive the formal report in the coming weeks. We view this not as a finish line, but as a brilliant new foundation to build upon as we continue to elevate the educational experience at KIS. Thank you to every single member of our community who helped us reach this historic milestone. Together, there is nothing we cannot achieve!

Our newly formed KIS Primary Robotics Team competed in their very first VEX GO Scrimmage, going head-to-head with teams from Carmel School and GSIS. While they came incredibly close to a podium finish, we are bursting with pride at their commendable effort, enthusiasm, and stellar teamwork!

Behind this fantastic team is a unique selection process that we are incredibly proud of. To ensure every student has a voice in robotics, our players were chosen based on two core principles:
⚖️ Promoting Gender Equity: We actively committed to a perfectly balanced team of 6 boys and 6 girls, creating an inclusive environment where all future innovators can thrive.
✨ Fresh Opportunities: We intentionally opened the floor to talented students who haven‘t yet had the spotlight, giving those with limited prior external competition experience their chance to shine.

During the tournament, our students brought our IPC Personal Learning Goals to life! Guided by the competition’s alliance framework, they acted as exceptional communicators and collaborators, working hand-in-hand with peer driving teams from other schools to strategise and solve problems. They showed immense resilience on the field and were wonderfully respectful partners to their fellow competitors.

Most importantly, our students enjoyed the experience enormously and are already buzzing to compete again.

Join us in celebrating our inaugural primary robotics team. LET‘S GO TIGERS! 🐯🎒

🥳Our Primary section concluded the academic year with the Primary End-of-Year Assembly, celebrating the many achievements of our young students.

During the assembly, students were recognised for their accomplishments across a range of subjects, as well as their contributions to school teams and activities. It was a special moment to reflect on their growth, perseverance, and successes over the past year, along with their development in the IPC learning goals. We are incredibly proud of all our students. 👏👏👏

We also announced our House Team winner—congratulations to Fin Whale for their outstanding effort and team spirit throughout the year! 🥳

In addition, we acknowledged the dedication and commitment of our teachers, whose continued hard work supports and inspires our students every day. We also took this opportunity to extend our appreciation to PIPTA for their ongoing support and contributions to school life.

The assembly ended with an energetic performance by our dance team, bringing everyone together in celebration. As we close the school year, we wish all our students, families, and staff a restful and enjoyable summer break.🥰
