In this session, Professor Siraj will share compelling research evidence on how successful leaders drive improvements in teaching, learning, and children's development – most notably through their influence on staff motivation, commitment, teaching practices, and the cultivation of leadership capacity within themselves and their teams.

She will also introduce the CLIQRS tools – research-validated frameworks she has worked on over 20 years – which can be used by practitioners to evaluate and enhance their own leadership for learning, enrich classroom practice, and ultimately add greater value to children's development. These tools are also valuable for auditing and research purposes.
