Just completed the third layer today, it’s dried and 85% finished but still requires a few more work on it. The painting is called “memories”to manifest my mood and the changes during the period of worklife.

If you were to put your mental images of Christmas onto paper in the form of a drawing, chances are there are two colours you'd use more than any others: red and green. For hundreds of years, red and green have been the traditional colours of Christmas. But why is that?

Although Christmas trees are green, Santa's suit and Rudolph's nose are red, these modern holiday decorations and characters weren't the inspiration for the colours we associate with Christmas. To find their root, we have to go much further back in time.

Abstract art is a bit like music. Just as a tune is an arrangement of sounds in time, with no meaning (not trying to 'sound like' water or birds or anything else) so an abstract composition is an arrangement of shapes and colors in space. Just as there are rules governing musical composition (scales, keys, principles of harmony) which can be followed or broken to a greater or lesser degree, so there are rules of composition in painting, which you can follow or break depending on what effect you want to achieve.
