Data and analytics are often about connecting the dots 📈, but at the heart of our programme, it’s really about connecting people 🤝. We recently brought together our students, supervisors, and teaching faculty for a joyous Celebration Dinner to toast the close of a truly remarkable academic year! 🥂✨

Beyond the rigorous research and late-night study sessions, the MSDA experience is built on a strong and supportive professional network. The energy was simply incredible✨! From capturing candid smiles at the photo booth, alongside our dedicated teaching team and staff, to the inspiring opening remarks that set our sights on the future, it was an evening we won't soon forget 🎉.

A special shout-out to Professor Chandola for bringing the excitement with a fantastic Lucky Draw, and a huge thank you to our amazing student representatives who sparked plenty of laughter with a highly interactive trivia session! 🎁

On May 5, 2026, our MSocSc(SDA) students translated complex datasets into compelling narratives, showcasing analytical acumen and research rigor.

A massive congratulations to Group 9 for taking home the highly coveted “Best Poster Award”! 🏆 Under the supervision of Professor Gao Jian, their outstanding project, titled "From Center to Margins: Mapping the Paradigm Shift and Evolutionary Trajectory of AI in Social Sciences," truly impressed their peers and our teaching team 👏.
