# News on OASIS # At the beginning of 2020, we recruited our first commercial user in financial sector (a state-owned bank in Hong Kong. The information of the bank is covered due to the privacy law). The bank's SVP and department's head used OASIS to address the gratuity distribution problem among his colleagues.
The implementation is successful. Moreover, the SVP thinks highly of the potential of the OASIS's implementation in his bank.

# Findings on OASIS # From the observation of our latest commercial implementation of a toy factory, we got some interesting findings:
- Compared with academic users, the commercial user’s team members tend to give more unequal assessment of contributions;
- OASIS aligns incentive between team members and the management, it addresses the principal–agent problem in managing a well-established business.

# News on OASIS # Our second publication--"Reducing Costly Free-rider Effects via OASIS" (link: https://www.emerald.com/insight/content/doi/10.1108/IJCED-07-2019-0041/full/html) was accepted by International Journal of Comparative Education and Development. This time, we analyzed 298 student users' feedback data and we found:
-- OASIS is welcomed by teachers as its easy to use, transparent, objective and discouraged free ridings;
-- After the OASIS intervention, students were less likely to perceive that free riders have harmed them or hindered fair grading.

Our first commercial user -- Goabroad has completed their first trial on OASIS website at late August, 2019. They think highly of OASIS as the website simplified the assessment procedure. Besides, they indicated that OASIS can also encourage students to re-consider the value of team work.

# News on OASIS # Dr. Alice Shiu is an Associate Professor at the School of Accounting and Finance (AF) in Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) (https://af.polyu.edu.hk/people/academic-staff/dr-alice-shiu/).
She started to use OASIS since Semester 2 of the 2017-2018 academic year. The course has over 500 students per year. She has positive comments of OASIS implementation.
