Dear Parents,

I attended the ESF Board meeting on Wednesday with Karen Thomas (Head of KJS from August) and Karin Wetselaar (Principal of JCSR School) and we made a presentation about the Kowloon Learning Campus. We share a similar excitement about the opportunities this idea presents for the students across the three schools and into our wider community (particularly CWBS and BHS), so we were all delighted that the ESF Board has given permission to proceed with a two year pilot.
The detailed planning process now gathers pace and the urgent need is to appoint a Head of KGV so I have the space to work strategically across the Campus from August. We hope to do this before the end of term to minimize potential timetable changes next year.
It will be a fascinating few weeks as we begin to adjust to new relationships and evolving structures and systems. I will keep you updated as decisions are made.
