Bess Leeder is an Air Milliner. She was a flight attendant for the last 12 years, graduating to her present hobby as a full time traveller, whilst being a Milliner when she is on the ground. She first fell in love with millinery during the Summer a few years ago when she studied at the London College of Fashion. Since then, she has been honing her millinery skills under the expert tutelage of Prudence, the appointed milliner of Vivienne Westwood.

作為Air Milliner，成日周圍飛，要適應機艙同各地嘅天氣同濕度，再加上戴帽要配合唔同造型，會特別注重頭髮保養
我會選擇Kérastase Chronologiste 逆時光至臻香氛修護精華油，每日造型後搽少量護髮油嚟增添光澤感又有滋潤效果，而且，玫瑰木調香氣係由著名調香師調配，仲可以做埋頭髮香水，坐完長途機都可以散發著香味

Move for good 🕊️
A bit of mixed feeling last Sunday, it was a day we said goodbye to our 3.5 years old hood, our first wine shop, Leeder Quay Mui Wo.
It wasn’t an easy decision at all, but good things come to an end as we will move for better! Thank you so much for your continued support! It’s such a treasure to meet everyone of you here!

三八有感💌
今日係國際婦女節， 正是一個好日子同大家報告一下新動向！
疫情下嘅幾年，你地過得好嗎？相信大家都經歷了不少。
身為Air Milliner 雖然冇四圍飛，但偶爾亦會接下與品牌合作嘅活動，戴口罩也要來得漂亮！而最大嘅轉變，就係同Mr Leeder 攜手創立左Leeder Quay 李德記, 喺中環同梅窩開店，由Hat Lady搖身一變，成為一個不折不扣的Wine Lady！
作為現今世代嘅女性就係要多面向，聆聽自己，忠於自己所愛嘅人同事，敢作敢為（大概呢個就係剪了瀏海的勇氣（哈)✂️❤️

這是我在新工作室的第一個訪問
感謝FashionClinic by TobyCrispy 把我的故事，一言一詞，細膩地描繪出來
我們七年前在小時光 XiaoShiGuang的主理人Sam Fung的穿針引線下認識，記得人生第一次擁有upcycling 的衣服，正是出自Toby 的手筆。
「惜物」這個概念開啟了我利用剩餘物料製作帽子的大門

The first piece of Upcylcling clothing I encountered in my life was at Xiaoshiguang, it was created by Toby, where I met her 7 years ago. The concept of "cherishing things" inspired me to make hats from leftover materials

最近和一位藝術家朋友交談，她會用文字畫畫
而我，就用文字造帽
當我知道要為 演唱會 設計帽子後，腦海一直哼着 #每道微小 這首歌，而當中幾句歌詞就構建了帽子的意念
構思了初形，正思考用什麼材料之際，在工作室找來一些不起眼的鐵線，一堆剩餘的草帽碎料，拼湊之下，幾個不眠不休的晚上，Maly hat 誕生了
當幾根微小的鐵線結合，與幾塊關鍵的草帽碎料遇上，齊集盛放，在台上發光發亮，全力發揮
再次感謝 Sam Fung 的邀請, RubberBand 的信任，和 AMuiXis - AMX 的精彩演出!

這個hat block是我剛開始造帽時從澳洲買下，一直隱藏在工作室的一角，未有機會用上
前陣子搬屋，一切重新整理，安頓過後的一星期，接到造形師 Sam Fung 的來電，要為RubberBand Ciao 演唱會 的 A ca****la AMuiXis - AMX製作帽飾，以《每道微小》Maly 象的Top hat作藍本，這個珍藏十多年的 hat block 終於大派用場，彷彿在跟我說「你好！」
“ Ciao “ 是意大利語，用於「你好」和 「再見」
這個冥冥中的安排，就是要我和這個hat block再次遇見!
