NEW - FRENCH TUTORING -CLEARWATER BAY

My name is Vanessa and I am a native French teacher from Paris. I have lived in Hong Kong for 3 years at present. I have 8 years experience in teaching French overseas to children and adults.

In Hong Kong, I am working as a Private French Tutor. I teach students who learn French as a second language and also assist native French students who need help with homework and provide in depth study of their mother tongue. I teach a variety of levels ranging from kindergarten, IGCSE, IB to adult conversation classes with specific needs.

Before coming to Hong Kong, I worked for the American School of Kingston in Jamaica in the French Section for 4 years. I taught French native students from K2 to Year 6 who were following the French curriculum. My duties were to ensure the understanding of new concepts and evaluate students’ knowledge, preparation of lessons and follow up according to the French curriculum. I had to ensure good communication between parents and the Head of school.

Furthermore, I spent more than one year working as a French Second Language Teacher for Alliance Française(Paris), in South Africa.

In summary, with all these rich experiences, I have a good vision of students’ expectations and needs and know how to encourage them to practice and speak French to become as fluent as possible.
