LiPACE, in collaboration with the Concord Institute of Wine, has been offering the first Professional Diploma/ Professional Certificate in Wine Assessment and Services (a Wine and Spirit Education Trust "WSET" approved course) in Hong Kong since 2004 with over 1,000 enrollments. Built on WSET's Level 2 and 3 exam syllabus but with a wider coverage, the programme provides students with a comprehensive training and knowledge in major wine styles, grape varieties, grape cultivation, winemaking processes, factors influencing the style and quality of wine, food and wine matching, the appellation regulation and the art of wine tasting through classes taught by wine experts and industry practitioners.
