新華理大(SWP)培訓中心於2000年成立，並與多間英國大學學府於香港合辦本地專項課程。

新華理大培訓及研發中心 (Sun Wah Pearl Education Centre) 於2000年由新華科技集團及香港理工大學攜手成立。本中心由最初提供開放源代碼的 Linux 作業系統的支援開始，發展至今提供多元化的電腦相關技術證書課程及專案的碩士課程。本中心於2005年開始，與英國數間著名學府合作，在香港引入具獨特性的課程，如電腦系統保安、電腦法證、審計及會計法證等碩士課程，同時更引進了平面設計學士課程課程，使本中心的課程更多元化。
