發展性語言障礙 (DLD) 是指在口語學習、理解和使用上有明顯的困難。
你要知道關於DLD的五個事實：
一、DLD是個隱藏的殘疾。有DLD的人士會使用錯誤的詞語或語法，或者簡單的句子。有些甚至在說話時不能夠有組織地表達自己。這些問題容易被普羅大眾忽略。
二、DLD在幼兒期出現，不過即使到成年仍會一直持續。
三、DLD的影響不分地域、不分語言。
四、DLD很普遍，一項研究顯示 (Norbury et al., 2016)，每14個兒童中便有一個有DLD的特徵。
五、DLD不容忽視，它可以影響一個人的社交及情緒健康，還有學習和工作的表現。
