Our founder, Paola Cortese is truly honoured to share the Game Changers panel with two titans of HK's sustainability community, Merrin Pearse and Doug Woodring, at the inaugural Hong Kong Eco Film Festival.

A million thanks to our fantastic moderator Jo Jones and a big congratulations to the HKEFF - Hong Kong Eco Film Festival team for organising this inaugural film festival. May there be many more to come!

Incineration aside, HK can definitely learn a lot from Singapore waste management system.

🌿
The "waste jar" of 40+ participants, 10+ mentors, 5 organisers that we collected throughout the 3 days event = 313 grams of landfill waste only!
πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
Zero waste event is totally possible and should be the standard of the future

A big shout out to everyone who makes this possible: our co-organiser , eco-forward venue and all the judges, mentors and of course all of our awesome eco-warrior participants!

We love them healthy snacks from .hk and meals cooked with loooove by the organisers / kitchen crew!
πŸ“
Creating a zero waste event takes the same amount of time and planning as any other event. We just need to switch our mindset and welcome suppliers and team mates with the same sustainable vision.
🌳
Having an eco-forward venue such as that can provide fully working kitchen and reusable diningware also makes it solo much easier!
