[ ] Youthquake

Youthquake, a noun that use to describe a significant cultural, political, or social change arising from the actions or influence of young people.

This term is coining from "youth" and "quake", in the pattern of "earthquake". is a linguistic progress, an act of inventing a word or phrase by using existing words or phrases.

[ ] To Kill a Mockingbird

To Kill a Mockingbird, published in 1960, is a classic of modern American literature that written by Harper Lee. The novel has introduced different themes such as racial inequality, class, gender roles, etc. Besides, the book has won the Pulitzer Prize in 1961.

[ ] Live and learn

Meaning that one has learned something from an experience that is surprising and usually unpleasant. Making mistake doesn't mean failure but meaning that there are something new that we can learn and become better.

Beginning a project well makes it easier to do the rest, and easier to reach your goal. That's why we always wanna set a SMART goal for ourselves!

The Handmaid's tale is a dystopian novel that is written by Margeret Atwood and is published in 1985. Atwood had suggested the theme of women in subjugation in a patriarchal society and fighting for individualism and independence.

The Handmaid's tale has won various awards and has been adapted into film and tv series.

[ ] MEMO

MEMO is a note or a document that is very useful for our daily life, especially for work and study.

This term is also a shortening of "Memorandum". This word formation process is called "Clipping", which is also known as "shortening" or "truncation".

[ ] 'A Clockwork Orange'

In 1962, a dystopian satirical black comedy novel by English writer Anthony Burgess. Here, Burgees created an argot called "Nadsat" used by teenagers in the novel. The Russian-influenced English language is widely used today not knowing where it originated. boohoo.
