A Learning Journey on Integrated Marketing Communications

Fusina is an Assistant Programme Officer at the International Office of Hong Kong Baptist University.

“I have experienced a very high teaching standard at HKU SPACE, which emphasizes learning and practicality of the Postgraduate Diploma in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC).

The experience in IMC and Master of Arts in Communications (California State University, Fullerton) changed my business approach and structured my thinking process. It trains students to identify problems, analyze situations and formulate appropriate strategies to deliver the best marketing communications campaign.

The program was rich in both practical and theoretical aspects. As my job at the International Office requires great marketing knowledge and communication skills; the program really enhanced my learning experience such that I am now confident to carry out my responsibilities professionally and diligently. All courses under my program had a practical component and this enabled me to understand marketing communications issues in depth.

Furthermore, the IMC final project provided us interesting opportunities and challenges to examine what we learnt. Also, facilities, staffs, lecturers and participative class discussions all made the experience an invaluable learning process”
