HKBU Master of HRM

HKBU Reward Management and Innovation Symposium 2022 - 2 June 2022

This symposium is co-organized by the Department of Management and the Centre of Human Resources Strategy and Development (CHRSD). As the first research center in Hong Kong that specializes in HRM, CHRSD aims to create knowledge with societal impact. The CHRSD is best known for her collaborative research in pay and benefits in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao greater bay area. This symposium aims to engage academics and HRM leaders in sharing insights and the latest research to strengthen connections between research and practice.

The global outbreak of the COVID-19 has brought about tremendous changes in the various aspects of HR and has pushed organizations to be adaptive and innovative in reward management in order to remain competitive. In this symposium, Prof. Randy Chiu (keynote speaker) will tell us how Analytics helps improve employee rewards. Our academic guest speakers will share their research insights on pay transparency taboo and the connection between neuroscience and reward management. Another highlight is our practitioners' Dialogue. Four distinguished practitioners will share their views and experience on reinventing reward management in the new normal.
