More than 500 students from Mansfield College participated in the first Community Chest Kowloon Walk for a Millions on February 21, 1971, raising a total of HK$12,200, all of which was donated to the Community Chest. The donation ceremony was held at 11:30 a.m. on February 27 at Mansfield College, where Mr. Yu Look Yau, the vice-patron of the Community Chest, personally accepted the donation at our school. 格致英文書院的學生們於1970年12月19日，參觀了東興隆滅火廠。在這次活動中，同學們深入了解了滅火器的製造過程以及消防安全的重要性。透過專業的講解，學生們對於滅火技術有了更全面的認識，並體會到消防工作的重要。希望這次參觀能激發同學們對於安全服務社會的熱情！
On December 19, 1970, Our Mansfield College students visited the Tung Hing Lung Fire Extinguishing Factory. During this activity, the students gained a deeper understanding of the fire extinguisher manufacturing process and the importance of fire safety. Through professional explanations, the students developed a more comprehensive understanding of firefighting techniques and appreciated the crucial role of fire prevention. It is hoped that this visit will inspire the students' passion for serving the community and ensuring safety!

上星期五的校友會晚宴如期舉行，非常成功，多謝各校友支持及關心，並多謝各屆校友聯絡人，令到當晚晚宴圓滿結束。特別鳴謝74年的校友贊助HK$1000、81校友Sylvia贊助咖啡杯作爲枱獎及素未謀面1978校友蔡明威在晚宴開始前到酒樓視察究竟是否真的有活動存在還是一個諞案，但他知道我們校友會的存在以及活動如實舉行時，便感到驚訝並即時贊助HK$1000作爲晚會運作費用。最後多謝Miss Shen 沈老師在場即時贊助HK$1000作為抽獎特別獎，使到當晚晚宴氣氛增色不少。而當晚的雨傘紀念品亦由Danny Ng贊助。多謝大家。有關當晚校友會晚宴照片會已在學校網站刊載，多謝瀏覽。

Last Friday's alumni Banquet, held as scheduled, was a great success. Many thanks to all alumni for their support and concern, and to the alumni liaisons from each graduating class for ensuring the dinner's smooth running. Special thanks to the 1974 alumnus for sponsoring HK$1000, to 1981 alumna Sylvia for sponsoring coffee cups as table prizes, and to 1978 alumnus Choi Ming Wai, whom we've never met before, for visiting the restaurant before the dinner to check if the event was actually taking place. Upon learning of our alumni association's existence and the event would be held accordingly, he was surprised and immediately sponsored HK$1000 to cover the event's operating costs. Finally, many thanks to Miss Shen for her immediate HK$1000 sponsorship as a special prize in the raffle (Lucky Draw), which greatly enhanced the atmosphere of the dinner. The umbrella souvenirs were also sponsored by Danny Ng. Thank you all.

Dear alumni, I have just added an article about the 4th Extra-curricular Activities Award Ceremony in 1971 to the school website. Since the original article is not very clear, I have retyped it so that you can understand the brilliant achievements of the school that year. These precious materials are hard to come by. Other schools such as New Method College, Wellington College and HK Christian College Alumni Association do not provide as much rich information as our school website. 昨天2025年6月1號(日)為尖沙咀海運戲院最後營業，令人感到唏噓及可惜。但格致書院與這間海運戲院都頗有淵源，因為我校的扶輪少年服務團曾於1973年12月30日早上10時半假座此戲院舉行義影電影會，為籌募未來1974年的服務經費以作該少年團向社會提供服務。義影成績令人滿意，全員滿座。照片: 我校更邀請到時任油麻地民政主任余黎青萍、九龍北區扶輪社社長雷康侯及九龍東區扶輪社社長鄭亞清，聯合主持剪綵儀式，場面熱鬧而隆重。
Yesterday was the last day business (1 June 2025 Sunday) of Ocean Theatre, Tsim Sha Tsui, it makes us feel sorry for that. But the Interact Club of our Mansfield College staged a Charity Movie Screening at this Ocean Theatre at 10:30 on 30 Dec 1973 for raising the operation fund for providing service to the public in 1974. Such Charity Movie Event was very successful and the theatre was full house.
