Welcoming the new BYG Team in style with our annual night time snake hike 💪🏽🐍

Such a great team building experience as the excitement built with each snake spotted (8 in total!)

A huge thank you to Will and Ryan for sharing their awareness and expertise of snakes in Hong Kong…we feel super lucky to be able to pass this knowledge down to the kids this week during our ‘snake safety’ sessions.

Stay tuned for our Halloween and November Night Hike series, coming soon 👀 🐍 🦇

Summer isn’t over just yet! ☀️✨

We’ve had so much fun over the last few weeks that we’re simply refusing to let the good times end. So, we’re extending the magic with a BONUS WEEK of Summer Adventures from August 10th – 14th!
We’ve pulled together a curated lineup of our absolute greatest hits from the summer camps:

🫧 Giant Bubbles – Taking bubble-blowing to legendary proportions!
🔥 Fire & S’mores – Toasty, gooey campfire perfection.
🧽 Sponge Bomb Battles – The ultimate, splash-tastic cool-down.
🪵 Wooden Wheels – Crafting, rolling, and hands-on fun.
🍧 Summer Snow Cones – The sweet, icy cherry on top of an amazing week!

Don’t let the summer slip away—join us for one final week of unforgettable memories!

If your kid came home looking like they successfully wrestled a rainbow... They truly are a part of The Backyard Gang! 🟢🟡🔵🟣🔴🟠

This week we skipped the manuals and let the kids run their own outdoor textile lab-creating masterpieces on their BYG blank shirts and designing one of a kind socks for Dad!

Happy Father’s Day.

Those stained fingers will fade, but the pride of making something from scratch won’t.

Sneaky Learning:

Fluid Dynamics: Figuring out how cotton fibers absorb liquid pigment.

The Creator’s Mindset: Shifting from consumers to producers—learning that they can invent their own one of a kind gifts.

The Hong Kong weather threw us rain all week... BYG threw back some tie dye 🌧️➡️🌈
Our Explorers & Gang kids smashed it anyway. Some Messy hands, bold colors & zero complaints.
We’re confident these results are gonna look marvellous once they’re dry 🟡🟢🔴🟣

Who says cleaning up can’t be an adventure? 🍃✨ Our Gang and Explorers have spent World Environment Week on a very special mission: hunting for litter and cleaning up the trails and streams that we use so often 🚮♻️🌍. Seeing their enthusiasm for protecting the planet has been truly inspiring! Great job Team BYG 💪
