兒童議會 Children's Council

兒童議會2021計劃已順利完成！

兒童議員準備多月的議案經發布、激烈辯論和嘉賓交流後，順利獲投票通過。各個議案涵蓋基層兒童援助、特殊學習需要兒童的支援及兒童的社會參與等不同範疇，在幾月間要掌握相關概念、和專家進行訪談和進行問卷調查等，進行化成三千字的議案，其實是相當有挑戰性的。所以在閉幕典禮中，兒童議員代表致辭時提到用「成長、進步和友誼」三詞總結參與兒童議會的感受實在是十分貼切！

下年度兒童議會計劃將會暫停，日後的活動消息請繼續留意本專頁或IG的最新發布！謝謝各機構、學校、老師、家長和兒童參加者的一直支持，未來見！

【兒童議會2021 訓練活動4 日營 活動花絮 Children's Council 2021 Training Program 4 Day Camp Activity highlights 】

終於都分左三個議案組別，未開始工作之前，當然要了解多D組員同建立團體隊精神啦！所以我地去左營地進行左幾個新奇有趣嘅活動，之後正式開始準備議案先係真正嘅挑戰呢！大家加油！

Three motion groups are formed finally. Before kick-starting the motion paper, getting to know each other and build up team spirits are important! Therefore, we went to a campsite for some interesting challenges. The journey to writing a motion paper is not easy. Add oil everyone!

每位準兒童議員就自己關心嘅兒童權利議題準備左一分鐘演講，之後仲要同其他參加者辯論、爭取支持，最後一人一票選出左3個題目作為兒童議會2021嘅議案！

Each participant prepared a 1-minute presentation on a child rights issue that they are concerned about. They debate with others and lobby for support. The top three topics with the most votes become the motion topic for Children's Council 2021.

兒童議會2021訓練活動終於開始！一連兩個星期六，各位準兒童議員透過不同活動、遊戲、角色扮演等，加深左對兒童權利嘅認識，包括有關香港兒童權利嘅知識、權利與渴望嘅分別、仲有各地唔同嘅兒童權利倡議者故事。

好期待大家日後嘅發揮啊！

Children's Council 2021 Training programs have started. Participants gained an understanding of children's rights including some knowledge on children's rights in Hong Kong, rights and wants， as well as stories of child rights defenders from all around the world through different programs, games, and role play.

Looking forward to their performance in the coming days!

【歷屆兒童議員分享 6｜Sharing from past Child Councilors 6】

我認為一個好的兒童議員需要具備有意志力，有耐心同埋識好多野。要有意志力係因為我地需要係每一次長達四個幾鐘既meeting入面不斷思考，我地要不斷輸出一啲野，你唔可以係人地講緊野嗰陣成個人停咗係到，就算你既動作停止咗，但係個腦最好都要跟得上。

I think a good child councilor needs to have determination and patience and knowledgeable. To have determination is because we need to keep thinking and produce output in every meeting which takes at least four hours. You can’t stop while others are speaking, even if you stop your action, your brain must be able to catch up.

【歷屆兒童議員分享 5｜Sharing from past Child Councilors 5】

今年用一個組媽既身份去參與兒童議會，感覺好唔同，但每一分每一秒都好珍貴。最感動既係可以幫手培育到一班為兒童發聲既議員。見到佢地喺council meeting勇敢表達自己既意見，令我諗起五年前跳出comfort zone, 由一個平時完全唔出聲唔參加活動既學生變成一個更加自信既人。

除左為兒童發聲，兒童議會呢到最好既就係可以識到一班好朋友。今年我做左組媽，但依然識到一班好好既組仔女，聖誕一齊開party，開完meeting會一齊玩狼人，喺呢到識既朋友係可以last到好耐好耐架！所以唔好諗咁多喇，快啲報名！！

I participated in the Children's Council this year as a group leader this year and I felt different. I treasure every moment spent here. The most touching part is that I can help to train up child councilors to voice out for children. I recalled my good memories for how I stepped out of my comfort zone 5 years ago and become a person who is more confident

Apart from championing for children, the Children’s Council let you meet good friends. I am grateful that I met my good group members. We had Christmas Party, we played the "Werewolves of Miller's Hollow" after meeting, and friends met here are friends for life. Don't hesitate, apply now!

兒童議會是一個真正讓兒童擁有發言權和決定權的地方，亦會尊重各自的想法，和諧而平等的，所以是一個非常值得參與的活動，它未必能真正在香港社會實行，或改變，但過程比結果更重要，過程中，你有機會接觸你從未有機會接觸的人、做一份議案、學習兒童權利等等，同時亦認識到不少朋友，更有機會是學霸呢！最重要是，兒童議會讓我擁有自信😎

Children’s Council is where a child truly has the right to speak and decide. We respect each other’s views harmoniously and equally and that’s why the Children ‘s Council is a very worth-joining activity. It may not bring real changes in Hong Kong but the process is more important than the outcome. During the journey, you will have a chance to meet people you have never met before, to prepare for a motion paper, and learn about children’s rights, you can also meet many friends and some are star students too! Most importantly, the Children's Council boosts my self-confidence!
