Our Story

We began in 2009 with one centre in Mid Levels on a little road called Babington Path, we had grand visions of redefining how children learn English. The founders of Babington Education are teachers first and foremost. This gives us a strong connection to teaching and learning.

We noticed that many learning centres in Hong Kong simply “burn” children’s time with a “native English teacher”. Learning outcomes are largely unpredictable and depend massively on the ability of the teacher. We set out to change this. With first hand experience in the classroom, we knew that if teachers used the same curriculum and the same teaching method, we can control and predict children’s learning outcome. And this is exactly what we set out to achieve.
