學院教育心理學系王李教授主持的研究項目《針對患有神經發育障礙兒童的家長實施的幹預措施：基於功能性近紅外光譜技術的兩站點試點試驗》，榮獲「粵港同心、合作共贏︰1+1+1聯合資助計劃」第二輪資助。

王教授於2026年6月8日出席在香港中文大學康本國際學術園舉行的研究論壇暨第二批項目啟動儀式，並於典禮上獲頒資助證書，其後於海報交流環節向與會者介分享其研究項目。該研究聚焦6至10歲神經發育障礙兒童，結合家長實施介入策略與fNIRS神經反應指標，為跨校區合作及未來大型研究奠定基礎。

「1+1+1」聯合資助計劃由廣東省科學技術廳、香港中文大學及香港中文大學（深圳）共同支持，透過設立種子資金池，推動粵港兩地高校開展具影響力的跨境科研合作。

A research project led by Prof. Alice Wang from the Department of Educational Psychology, Faculty of Education, has been awarded funding under the second round of the “One Brand, Two Campuses: 1+1+1 Joint Collaboration Fund.” The project is entitled “Parent-Implemented Intervention for Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders: A Two-Site Pilot Trial with fNIRS-Based Outcome Measures.”

Prof. Wang attended the Research Forum cm Launch Ceremony of the Second Batch Projects held on 8 June 2026 at Yasumoto International Academic Park, the CUHK, where she received the certificate of award. She also shared the project with participants during the poster session. Her project focuses on children aged 6–10 with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) and integrates parent-implemented intervention strategies with fNIRS-based neural measures, laying the groundwork for future cross-campus collaboration and research development.

The “1+1+1” initiative, jointly supported by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, the CUHK, and the CUHK-Shenzhen, establishes a seed funding pool to foster impactful cross-border research collaboration.

來自美國加州州立大學弗雷斯諾分校的Prof. Hong Ni於講座中分享其有關PBIS在中國小學情境下進行文化調適的研究，並以北京一所學校的個案研究為例作詳細說明。講座反應熱烈，吸引眾多同學到場參與。而隨後舉行的「一對一」諮詢會議，進一步促進了專業交流與意見分享。

The Department of Educational Psychology successfully held the seminar “Cultural Adaptation of PBIS in Chinese Elementary Schools” and the accompanying “One-to-One” Consultancy Meetings on 27–28 May 2026.

Prof. Hong Ni from California State University, Fresno (USA) shared her research on the cultural adaptation of PBIS in Chinese elementary school contexts, drawing on a case study from a school in Beijing. The seminar received an enthusiastic response and attracted strong student participation. Following the seminar, One-to-One Consultancy Meetings were held to further facilitate professional exchange and discussion.

由香港教育領導發展中心主辦的「遊學團的法律須知」培訓講座已於2026年5月30日在香港中文大學順利舉行，吸引近百名來自全港中小學的校董、校長、行政人員及負責遊學業務的教育同工參與，現場氣氛熱烈。

講座首先由教育學院院長張志強教授致歡迎辭；並由資深教育法專家林壽康教授擔任主講，圍繞合約、侵權、國際私法及保險四大法律範疇，結合真實案例作深入講解，提供務實建議。在答問環節中，參加者針對合約擬訂、責任劃分、保險配置及突發事故處理等實務問題踴躍提問，疑慮逐一釐清。

與會人士一致表示課程內容實用、收穫豐富。中心未來將陸續推出涵蓋法律、家校合作、AI管理及師生身心健康等主題的課程，與業界攜手提升香港教育質素。

A seminar titled “Cross-Border Study Tours: Legal Risks and Responsibilities” was successfully held at the CUHK on 30 May 2026, hosted by the Hong Kong Centre for Educational Leadership Development. Nearly 100 school supervisors, principals, and administrative staff from primary and secondary schools across Hong Kong participated.

Prof. Alan Cheung, Dean of Education, delivered the opening remarks. Guest speaker Prof. Lam Sau Hong, a veteran expert in education law, provided practical insights into four key legal areas—contracts, torts, private international law, and insurance—illustrated with real-life cases. During the Q&A session, participants actively raised practical questions on contract drafting, allocation of responsibilities, insurance arrangements, and emergency handling, with all concerns thoughtfully addressed.

Participants found the seminar highly practical and rewarding. The Centre will continue to launch professional training programmes covering areas such as school compliance, home-school collaboration, AI in management, and the well-being of teachers and students, in collaboration with the education sector to further enhance the quality of education in Hong Kong.

2026京港大學聯盟籃球邀請賽於5月30日至6月1日假香港中文大學楊明標室內體育館圓滿舉行🏀 本屆賽事匯聚中國科學院大學、香港大學、香港理工大學及香港中文大學四支男子籃球隊，透過為期三天的單循環賽展開連番激戰，以球會友之餘，亦進一步促進京港高校之間的學術與體育交流。

活動設歡迎晚宴，主辦單位熱情接待中國科學院大學副部長朱天宇教授及其代表隊，並邀得香港中文大學教育學院院長張志強教授、副院長沈劍威教授及體育運動科學系楊懌健教授出席，一同見證兩地院校的交流與合作。賽事亦由協理副校長兼大學輔導長高永雄教授主持開球禮，為比賽揭開序幕。

經過多場精彩對決，最終由 體育部帶領的香港中文大學勇奪冠軍🥇，香港理工大學獲亞軍🥈，中國科學院大學取得季軍🥉。是次活動不僅提升學生的競技水平與團隊精神，更深化京港院校之間的聯繫，體現體育與教育交流的雙重意義。

The 2026 Beijing–Hong Kong University Alliance Basketball Invitational Tournament was successfully held on 30 May to 1 June at the Yeung Ming Biao Indoor Sports Centre, CUHK 🏀 Featuring teams from UCAS, HKU, PolyU, and CUHK, the three-day round-robin tournament delivered intense competition while fostering friendship and strengthening academic and athletic exchange.

A welcome dinner brought together distinguished guests and teams, highlighting meaningful institutional connections. The tournament officially tipped off with an opening ceremony officiated by Professor Ko Wing Hung.

After a series of exciting matches, CUHK team, which was led by Physical Education Unit claimed the championship 🥇, PolyU finished as runner-up 🥈, and UCAS secured third place 🥉. The event showcased not only high-level competition and teamwork, but also strengthened collaboration and ties between universities in Beijing and Hong Kong.

The Graduate School will be hosting a Postgraduate Outreach Trip in Seoul from June 25-28, with an info session on June 27 (Saturday) at 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗺 (𝟮𝟯𝟭 𝗧𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻-𝗿𝗼, 𝗚𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗺-𝗴𝘂, 𝗦𝗲𝗼𝘂𝗹) from 10:30am-1:00pm.

The Dean of Graduate School will provide a comprehensive overview of CUHK’s postgraduate programmes. 體育運動科學系於2026年5月13日舉行了「教學實習交流活動（大灣區）」，本系師生團隊到訪香港中文大學（深圳）附屬知新學校，展開充實而多元的交流之旅！

當日活動內容豐富，包括校園參觀、中小學體育課觀課，體驗不同學校的教學特色；同學更與小學三年級學生進行小組微型教學展示，實踐所學。最後透過座談交流，與兩地師生分享教學心得與經驗。

是次活動不僅讓同學深入了解大灣區中小學體育教育的教學風格與文化，更加深了對區內課程發展的認識，拓闊視野，收穫滿滿！✨

The Department of Sports Science and Physical Education organised the Teaching Practice Exchange Tour in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) on 13 May 2026, visiting Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen Zhixin School, for a fruitful exchange experience.

Highlights included a campus tour, observations of primary and secondary PE lessons, and a micro-teaching session with Primary 3 students. The day concluded with an engaging sharing session, where teachers and students exchanged insights on teaching practices from both regions.

This meaningful experience allowed our students to explore the teaching styles and culture of PE education in the GBA, deepening their understanding of curriculum development while broadening their horizons.✨
