Huge congratulations to our HKBUAS Chinese Debating Team for winning the Grand Final of the Equal Opportunity Cup Secondary School Inter-school Debating Competition 2025–2026 with an impressive 5–0 victory!

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Mr Simon Cheung, our dedicated Chinese Debating Team Coach, for his leadership and unwavering support. We are incredibly proud of our debaters – Claudia, Oscar, Alexis and Torres! 🌟

大家期待已久的「平等機會盃」2025–2026校際辯論比賽總決賽今日（5月24日）圓滿舉行。經過一場緊湊而激烈的交鋒，我校（反方）憑藉嚴謹的論證、清晰的思路及沉穩的臨場發揮，最終以 5比0 的票數脫穎而出，榮獲總冠軍寶座。大會同時向正方順德聯誼總會李兆基中學的出色表現致以由衷敬意。

本校代表林珈靖同學、陳品喬同學、温菁琳同學及卓嘉謙同學，四位均於初賽中獲得「最佳辯論員」殊榮，表現亮眼。特別鳴謝一直以來悉心指導、由始至終鼓勵同學的張嘉澤主任，成就今日佳績。

比賽於下午2時30分正式開始，歷時近兩小時。老師、同學及家長踴躍到場支持，氣氛熱烈，充分展現A-School團結一心的精神。

是次總決賽辯題為：
「家庭教育較學校教育對建立學童的平等機會意識更為重要」。
我校辯論隊作為反方，以縝密的論據回應正方立場，獲得評判團一致高度肯定。

🔥 最新捷報 Breaking News: HKBUAS English Debating Team Stuns Last Year’s Champion in HK Bar Association Debating Competition!

本校英文辯論隊今日於香港大律師公會主辦的辯論比賽2026 初賽中，對陣上屆冠軍瑪利諾修院學校，在一場激烈而高水準的辯論交鋒中脫穎而出，成功奪得勝利。

雙方實力旗鼓相當，論證嚴密、節奏緊湊、氣氛熱烈。我們的隊員沉著應戰，以清晰的邏輯、敏捷的思辨與穩健的台風贏得評審肯定。

Our HKBUAS English Debating Team has triumphed in today’s preliminary round of the HKBA Debating Competition 2026, organised by the Hong Kong Bar Association. Facing Maryknoll Convent School, last year’s champion, our team delivered a poised, strategic, and compelling performance that secured a well‑earned victory.

It was a clash of wit, logic, and eloquence — and our students rose to the challenge with confidence.

🐣【校園札記・築巢之恩】

後方中學教員室旁的竹林深處，不久前才剛築好一窩新巢。鳥巢不華美，卻一草一木皆心血。正如父母的愛，不張揚，卻竭力為孩子編織最安穩的家——遮風擋雨，溫飽無憂。

鳥媽媽仍靜靜守著巢中的蛋。這幾天，雛鳥悄悄破殼了——牠們柔弱卻用力地回應這個世界。大家每次路過，都放輕腳步，生怕驚擾了這份初生的溫柔。

此刻，雛鳥們正張著小嘴，嘰嘰喳喳地叫著，焦急等待父母帶回食物、一口一口地餵養。

何其有幸，這些鳥兒願意在我們校園裏安家育雛，彷彿信任我們也懂得這份守護的深情。

雛鳥還小小地擠在一起，依偎著彼此，依賴著父母親。待羽翼漸豐，牠們終將學步、學飛，一步步告別這個暖巢，迎向屬於自己的一片天空。 🌈

今天，五年級同學在我校的沉浸式科創教室 InnoCave 裡，展開了一場別開生面的「長江探源」學習活動！

透過360度全景投影與互動媒體，同學們從長江的發源地——青藏高原的唐古拉山脈出發，一路沿江而下，遊歷了壯麗的三峽大壩與歷史悠久的武漢長江大橋。🏞️🌉

旅途中，他們認識了中國三大階梯地形，親眼見證「長江第一灣」的奇觀，觀察地形、氣候與人文生活的關係，也探討了三峽大壩在防洪、發電與航運方面的重要作用與影響。🌍⚡

看到同學們在沉浸式課堂中如此投入於國家地理、歷史與環境等學習議題，展現出滿滿的好奇心與觀察力，實在令人鼓舞！



Today, our Grade 5 students embarked on an exciting “Yangtze River Source Exploration” activity inside our school’s InnoCave — our very own immersive innovation classroom!

Through 360° panoramic projections and interactive media, they traveled from the source of the Yangtze River — the Tanggula Mountains on the Tibetan Plateau — all the way downstream to the magnificent Three Gorges Dam and the historic Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. 🏞️🌉

Along the journey, they explored China’s three major terrain steps, witnessed the dramatic “First Bend of the Yangtze,” observed the connections between terrain, climate, and human life, and discussed the world’s largest hydropower dam — its crucial roles in flood control, energy generation, and shipping, as well as the trade-offs involved. 🌍⚡

It was truly inspiring to see our students so engaged in learning about national geography, history, and environmental issues through this immersive classroom experience, demonstrating great curiosity and sharp observation skills!

- In STEAM, 5C LAU Ho Yeung got 2nd runner up in My Green Space Student Competition 2024-2025 Senior Primary.

- At the WCGAA 9th World Gifted Music Competition (Strings Group P1-2), 3B YU Yan Lok Kayla won the Champion🥇.

- 5C CHAN Long Yu Arin also claimed the Gold Award🥇 in the Hong Kong International Harp Elite Competition 2025 (Grade 5).

- 6A CHUNG Ngai Zachary was awarded 2 Gold Prizes 🥇🥇 in the Hong Kong Music Talent 2025 Music Competition (Strings Senior) and the HKIMEA 4th Hong Kong International Music Competition (Strings Grade 6-7).

🏅 Athletic Achievements:
- 4C YAU Hei Long Adrian clinched the champion title 🥇 at the TCAA Athletics Championships 2025 Round 4 (Boys C Softball Throw).

- In the Little Owl Cup HK - Time Trial Match (Mölkky), 4D WONG Yuet Ching also won the champion title 🥇.

- In the Shatin Sports Association Swimming Competition, 6C TSE Yuet Tung won the champion title 🥇 in the Girls born in 2014 50m breaststroke group.

- 6E CHOW Wing Ching Kady won the gold medal in the WSE Athletics Open Macau U11-400M, secured 1st runner-up 🥈 in the WSE Athletics Open Macau U11-200M, and achieved 2nd runner-up 🥉 in the WAC Annual Challenge 2025 Girls U12 400M.
