聽到面試係咪就會緊張呢？我知道要唔緊張係好難嘅，唯一可以做嘅就係了解清楚面試內容，有充分嘅準備就自然會有好嘅表現啦！Healthcare嘅科目可能會有一個叫MMI嘅面試，MMI亦稱Multi Mini Interview，係一個以小攤檔型式嘅Interview。你會每一個攤檔有一個mini interview (我嘅歷時2分鐘）關於專業價值，chemistry知識，工作經驗同基本情節。MMI之後，有機會會有group interview或者group activity。我去過兩個好唔同嘅group interview，其中一個需要一組人去用俾嘅材料製造一樣可以防止雞蛋從高空掟落會爛嘅模型，佢哋會從中測試你有無合作精神因為醫護行業全部都要合作先可以達到好嘅結論。除此之外，我亦都去過一個係類似小組討論嘅interview，每人會被派出一個情節或解決方法，之後你哋要將故事情節串通去組成一個完整故事。呢個係最難嘅一個因為你唔只要串通，仲要說明方法，一定要全組人合作先有可能可以達到結論，之後亦要將結論寫喺紙上，向面試官呈交。另外，有學校會需要學生完成筆試，筆試可以係英文或者數學。數學測驗只會測試你嘅基本數學技術，加減乘除但唔可以用計算機。部份pharmacy maths test會要求學生計算藥物用量，你可以從網上搵例子去練習，從而熟習計算方法。
People always get nervous for an interview, but you can’t stop stressing about it, so, all you need is some distress method and a basic idea of what the interview are about, if you are well prepared, you will feel less stress about it. Remember, do not drink water half an hour before your interview time, or else, you will be stressing out for desperately needing the loo together with the interview itself. Other than that, let me explain some other forms of interview here. You might have MMI interview, MMI means Multi Mini Interview, you will be going round a few booths, each with an interviewer and a short period interview (mine is two minutes long). For pharmacy interview, there will be a booth asking for professional values, chemistry knowledge, working experience and basic scenario. After MMI, there will sometimes be a group interview/activity. One of the uni asked for a group of people to come up with a model that can prevent an egg from breaking if you attached it to the egg and drop it from a distance, that interview is testing whether you can collaborate with the others because all healthcare practitioners have to work together to come up with the best solution. On the other hand, the other group interview I have been to is so much different, each one of you will be handed in either a scenario or a solution and you have to join them together to make a story, that is extremely hard because you do not only fuse the scenario or solution together, you have to also explain it deeply and someone has to write the conclusion on the paper and present them to the interviewers afterwards. Some of the interview requires written test, they could be on both English or Maths. The maths test for pharmacy interview are often easy, they are just simple maths (but without a calculator), you will be required to carry out maths that deal with drug dosage, to prepare for this, you could access some drug dosage calculations online and practice them, make sure you are familiar with them!

Employers love overseas candidate and you are going to stand out from the rest. They think that overseas candidate have the skill to communicate with people from all over the world, not by only knowing how to speak a different language, but being fluent in others’ communication skills. If you are going to pursue a career towards languages or international relationships, that will definitely be beneficial.

大學宿舍有好多唔同嘅類型，你可以選擇要唔要有食物提供嘅宿舍。有食物提供嘅宿舍通常會比較昂貴，但係就唔需要自己浪費時間去煮。如果你好似我咁中意食中餐多啲嘅，你可以選擇自己煮而唔需要浪費金錢去住有食物提供嘅宿舍。另外，宿舍嘅價格亦都會因為地址而有差異。想喺城市讀書嘅你，就要有心理準備去承擔昂貴嘅住宿費。城市好似倫敦同曼徹斯特，價格大約係非城市嘅兩至三倍。所以，挑選宿舍全部依賴你想唔想喺城市或者你嘅預算。There are various kinds of university accommodations, some of them requires self catered and some provides catered accommodations. You have to prepare your own meals if you have applied self catered, some people think that it's more convenient because you don’t need to be controlled for meals times, but some people like me, who enjoys Chinese food more than western cuisines, then, you can prepare your own meals at whenever you want. Apart from the differences in catering, prices of rooms also varies depends on the location of your uni, if you are planning to study in cities like London or Manchester, the prices might be two or three times more expensive than countryside uni. It all depends where you would like to live in cities or countryside and your budget.
