A crown of silver, a lunar glow,
Like winding river his hair grows.

The mirror reflects a history told,

根據調查，大概三分一的英國人會稱午餐做dinner，稱晚餐做tea。

這背後是有一些原因。
農耕社會時，一般會在自家農場或家附近工作，習慣回家吃豐富一點，吃飽一點才有氣力工作，所以就稱為dinner。然後早睡早起，大約5至6點就簡單吃少許就上牀睡覺，就
稱之為tea。其後工業革命，人們開始要到離家遠一點地方上班，就偏向食三文治等簡餐，回家才吃豐富點，隨之而餐膳叫法亦有所不同，尤其是英國較城巿化的南部。
