Woodland Pre-Schools Reopens as Guidepost Montessori schools

We're thrilled to announce that Woodland Pre-Schools will reopen as Guidepost Montessori schools from August 2024. Three campuses in Mid-Levels, Repulse Bay and Sai Kung will be transformed and featuring beautiful new learning environments and exciting indoor and outdoor play spaces. With this, will bring together the largest community of like-minded young families in Hong Kong, who will receive the best educational program for their children, and the best service experience for parents.

🎏 Kodomo No Hi 🎏

Children of the Badgers class had a blast celebrating "Kodomo No Hi" (Children's Day in Japan)!

They created vibrant Koi fish decorations, a symbol widely seen in Japan that represents strength and the ability to overcome obstacles. 🐠✨ To make the occasion even more special, we had a parent join us to share in this festive experience. 🎉

Our little explorers in the Accompanied Playgroup are diving into the world of blocks, unleashing their creative minds to build fascinating structures and patterns. 🧱

Every day is an adventure filled with play-based and creative learning. 🎨✨

🐸🚌 Driver Froggy and Bus Number 10 are on a mission! 🐸🚍

Driver Froggy has a unique rule: Passengers can only get on the bus if they make bonds of 10!

Children were given random number cards and embarked on an exciting challenge—to find a partner and create bonds of 10 together. 🤝This activity not only helped children sharpen their mental addition strategies but also encouraged collaboration and peer learning in our play-based environment.

Woodland Mid-Levels now offers Enrichment Programmes, providing children aged 2 to 6 years old with the opportunity to dive deeper into different areas outside classrooms, exploring interests and building mastery.

Observing, understanding, and cultivating different types of plants builds an appreciation for and understanding of the natural world. In this programme, your child will engage with different gardening activities every week, learning to identify and grow flowers, vegetables, and more.

In Mini Makers, your child will make many things! Sort, stack, stick, or sew; it’s all about creativity and fun. It’s the ideal programme for young makers interested in DIY, creating, crafting, tinkering and learning.

Woodland Ladybirds class is diving into the "Night & Day" Sensory Activity! 🌙☀️

Children engage with foam, bubbles, and yellow circles resembling the sun. Playgroup children enjoy shaving cream, while the Wrigglers and Rollers use a safer soap and cornstarch mixture. 🛁🌈 Younger ones explore the foam's texture, while older children develop fine motor and problem-solving skills with spatulas and tweezers, picking up small yellow buttons symbolizing the sun.
