Description:
Science is all around our lives. We use a detective story to present the scientific knowledge in our daily lives in a hilarious and interesting way. We have worked out the third episode of our school's videos, in which detective Tim has to investigate the disappearance of Mickey. Indeed, the abduction of Mickey is created by himself. Tim solves it with his intelligence. In a nutshell, our video is all about science as several scientific theories have been included. For instance, we have mentioned the super cooling effect, lemon-juice invisible ink and convection of heat, etc. Let’s enjoy the video!

Description:
The topics that we have included in our video, are all from our daily lives.We always raise questions which can be explained scientifically. There are four topics, including topics about how cake can become spongy during baking and why our stomach will growl when we are hungry. Moreover, we have also discussed the process of hiccup and the way to deal with it. Last, we also analysed why we will feel itchy after being bitten by the mosquitoes. All these topics are discussed in our video by using a story about a date of a couple with an interesting ending.

我校有2隊同學成功於 中學生科學影片創作比賽 中的30隊參賽隊伍脫穎而出! 成為8 隊入圍隊伍其中的2隊。
於決賽當日(19/7/2014)，八隊將會獲邀到香港大學，向一眾教授、老師及學生們展示影片和就影片內容作一個約12分鐘的匯報（包括播放影片）。
此外，本會今年度特別加設了「Facebook人氣大獎」，各隊入圍決賽隊伍所拍攝的科學影片將於明日上載至香港大學科學外展隊Facebook專頁，開放給公眾們投票揀選他們心目中的最佳科學影片。整個投票活動為時一星期。於18/7/2014 23:59 之前累積最多「讚」(like)的參賽隊伍將能於決賽當日獲頒發「Facebook人氣大獎」獎座乙個。

你曾否想過 什麼時候拔牙是最好的呢0.0？

答案是——六時左右！

你知道嗎，若拔牙之後的處理不當，可能會引發以下的疾病!

“干槽症”是牙槽裏的血塊被碰掉之後，牙槽骨直接暴露於口腔環境，痊癒過程受到影響的結果。一般在術後2~4天出現。患處發生疼痛、口臭、腫脹等現象。干槽症出現於5%~10%的拔牙，特別是下部臼齒的拔除。因為吸煙者更容易出現干槽症，建議術後戒煙2天.干槽症的治療包括徹底清創，敷治療軟膏，填以抗菌劑或丁香油（止牙痛）等。
