For Mel Hamada, PHASE is more than a conference. Itโ€™s part of where her confidence, thinking, and growth as a PE educator took shape.

Now a middle school assistant principal at the International School of Beijing, Mel brings experience across PE, health, science, and school leadership, along with a passion for coaching and professional learning conversations.
This November, Mel returns to UNIS to share practical, game-centered approaches educators can take straight back into their PE spaces, where she will lead sessions exploring:

๐Ÿƒ Game Sense โ€“ Invasion Games - using tactical progressions and purposeful questioning to deepen student thinking

๐Ÿธ Game-Centred Approach to Net/Wall Games - using badminton to explore how games can be adapted so more learners experience success https://phase.community/presentations/game-centred-approach-to-net-wall-games-focused-on-badminton/
