("有"字前面沒有人名,我你他的) 都係 there is / there are.
2) 講某某有 = XX has ....
3) 有+(動詞)+到.... 這個是過去式 .... XX has done.
例如:

1) 有沒有東西吃? Is there anything to eat? (有字前無字)
2) 李先生有一輛汽車. Mr. Lee has a car. (李先生是人)
3) 史密斯先生今天有來過 Mr. Smith has visited today (有..過)

所以There 的意思雖然是 "那裡", 但是很多時候其實沒有意思.
要講 "係果度" 的話必須講 # # # is there. It is there, They are there. Jon is there. (句子的主題是 你我他它/人名).

dish 等於廣東話講"XX菜".... 前菜, 主菜, 等等
....
但是洗碗叫 washing dishes. 因為 dishes 是包括..碗 bowls,碟 plates,羹 spoons, 刀叉 cutleries

成語 "I have my plate full" 等於... 我已經夠忙的了(沒暇兼顧)
......
Side dish 包括 salad, 小吃, 菜, 等等...
西方人覺得 飯,意粉 都算 side dish...
......
杯子下面的又有另外一個名稱, 叫 saucer
