The Discovery College: Through Your Eyes, Inter House Art Competition has been a triumph with students sharing their unique personal views of DC. These creations have been proudly displayed in our foyer over the past week. Every artwork earned valuable House Points, with bonus points awarded to our runners-up and overall house winners.

Congratulations to our individual winners, Lindsay (Year 12) and Cassie (Year 6), as well as Blue House and Yellow House for securing the top two places!

Thank you to our panel of judges and to every student who submitted their artwork. We look forward to sharing more of our students' achievements in the year ahead.

We are incredibly proud of our Class of 2026 graduates as they take their next big steps!

As part of our ongoing Alumni Series, we caught up with our first set of grads to find out where their journeys are taking them and how Discovery College helped guide their university choices along the way.

Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we spotlight more of their stories, university destinations, and advice for future DC students!

We were delighted to host ESF CEO Belinda Greer to the College last Friday, offering a wonderful opportunity to showcase student learning and our vibrant community spirit.

Guided by Tara (Year 6) and Villi (Year 12), Ms Greer toured our classrooms, explored key facility enhancements and observed lessons in action.

The highlight of the morning was her interaction with our students and staff, capturing the shared sense of belonging that defines Discovery College.

Last week, our Year 13 students worked on a Collaborative Sciences Project, a hands-on challenge where teams tackle complex, real-world problems using scientific methods.

By working as a team they built on each other's ideas, deepened their own understanding, and strengthened skills including critical thinking, communication and collaboration.

A huge shout out to all the participating students for their creativity, team spirit and problem-solving skills.
