On March 26, our Percussion Ensemble achieved the Silver Award in the Percussion Ensemble – Secondary School category, with their dedication reflected in their performance. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Chin for his dedicated teaching and warm support, nurturing our percussionists.

On the same day, our Senior Mixed Choir Ensemble in collaboration with Heep Yunn School and our Intermediate Mixed Choir Ensemble in collaboration with Belilios Public School were awarded 2nd runner-up and Silver Awards respectively in the Vocal Ensemble – Foreign Language – Mixed Voice – Secondary School – A ca****la category. We are deeply thankful to Ms. Yu, Ms. Yuen, Ms. Kwong, and Mr. Yeung for their guidance and support, and we hope our musicians will continue to carry an ever-glowing passion for music-making.

[Musical Exchange with St Catharine's College Choir]

Last Saturday, our Senior Mixed Choir was honoured to perform with the Choir of St Catharine’s College, University of Cambridge at Holy Trinity Cathedral. We are grateful for all the guidance from the conductors and teachers in this exchange.

Our String Orchestra competed in the Joint School Music Competition on 14 April at Y Square and was awarded the Gold Award for their performance. We are deeply grateful for the guidance and support of Mr. Lau, Mr. Cheng, and Mr. Lam, whose dedicated coaching has accompanied our string players throughout their practices and musical journey.

[National Security Education Day]

Our Chinese Orchestra and Cantonese Music Ensemble performed on National Security Education Day on April 15 under the theme of the traditional Chinese Six Arts. We wholeheartedly thank the coordination and guidance from our teachers and conductors for the event.

We were delighted to take part in the Italian Opera Workshop organised by the Education Bureau today. We are grateful for the masterclass led by Ms. Kwong, through which our singers gained valuable insights into vocal production and interpretation.

On 24 March, our Junior String Quartet competed in String Ensemble – Secondary School – Junior at the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre. It was heartwarming to see them cherish their time on stage and approach their performance with seriousness and commitment. We are also grateful for the guidance and support from Mr. Cheng, Mr. Lam and Mr. Lau.

Last Saturday, our Cantonese Music Ensemble performed at the 78th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival Cantonese Operatic Songs Classes Finals & Prize-winners’ Concert, following their success in the open category competition. We are deeply thankful for the care, guidance, and support that Mr. Cheng and Mr. Chow have given to our musicians throughout their preparation and performances.

On 16 March, our brass ensemble participated in Brass Ensemble – Secondary School – Junior at Sheung Wan Civic Centre. They performed with enthusiasm and teamwork, sharing their love of ensemble music on stage. We are grateful for the guidance and support of our teachers, parents, and alumni, whose encouragement has accompanied our young musicians.

On 12 March, our Symphony Orchestra competed in Symphony Orchestra – Secondary School – Intermediate at the Tuen Mun Town Hall Auditorium and was awarded 1st runner-up. They have shown dedication and teamwork throughout their preparation and performance on stage.

On 14 March, our Senior Choir competed in Secondary School Choir – Foreign Language – Boys – First Division – Senior. They gave their very best on stage, singing with dedication and heart, and were awarded 2nd runner-up in recognition of their efforts. May this experience continue to inspire them to strive for excellence and grow further in their musical journey. We are also deeply thankful to all the teachers, parents, and alumni for their continued support of our boys, whose encouragement has sustained them throughout this meaningful journey.
