We’re a passionate, independent publishing house dedicated to crafting innovative resources that spark engagement, inspire collaboration, and unleash creativity in drama and theatre education. BLACK BOX Education started after a conversation amongst drama teachers about the lack of visually engaging, contemporary and current resources that can be utilized and displayed in the drama and performing arts learning environment. We set out on a mission to collaborate with leading professionals in the field of drama education and design to develop and create a range of resources that can enhance the development of teaching and learning for teachers and learners of drama and the performing arts. After twelve months of development and prototyping our first range of resources are now available to enhance and make an impact in drama classrooms and studios across the globe.

Black Box Education has crafted the Physical Theatre Toolkit. It's grounded in experimentation and one that encourages young performers (our students) to take risks, persevere through challenges, and, most importantly, create theatre that is bold, authentic, and deeply expressive.
