The School-based After-school Care Service Scheme delivers tangible benefits to students and families alike:
✅ Students complete their homework at school and consolidate their academic learning
✅ Parents who previously needed to stay home to look after their children can re-enter the workforce and improve their household finances

🌟 Our school successfully held the three-day “Efficient Literacy Day Camp” from 10th to 12th June 🎉! During these sessions, students learned English vocabulary 🔤 through the Artificial Intelligence (AI) English learning platform. The classroom was filled with a strong learning atmosphere 📚, with everyone actively engaged and showing great enthusiasm 💡.

This was not only an activity to learn new vocabulary ✍️, but also an important starting point for cultivating the ability to “Reading to Learn” 📖 and making good use of digital tools 💻 for self-directed learning. We hope that students will acquire more vocabulary 🗣️, broaden their English horizons 🌍, and lay a stronger foundation for future studies. 🚀

參觀投委會理財教育體驗館 🏛️✨

可銘同學滿懷期待參觀了位於南豐紗廠的理財教育體驗館🏢，體驗了館內創新的互動裝置和模擬情境🎮，將抽象的財富管理概念轉化為生動有趣的遊戲🎲。同學在導賞員的帶領下👤，化身為農夫👨‍🌾👩‍🌾，透過虛擬遊戲，管理網上農地🌾，體驗儲蓄💰、投資📈與風險管理⚖️。在過程中，他們深刻體會到「開源節流」的重要性💵，並學會區分「想要」與「需要」💭。

活動結束後🏁，學生均認為這次活動不僅打破了理財枯燥乏味的刻板印象💡，更讓他們種下了正確金錢觀的種子🌱，讓他們學會為未來的精明消費與人生規劃作好準備🚀。

Visiting The IFEC FinEd Hub 🏛️✨

Ho Ming students visited The IFEC FinEd Hub🏢. The visit offered a series of innovative interactive installations and simulated scenarios🎮 that successfully transformed abstract wealth management concepts into engaging, hands-on games🎲.
Guided by the docent👤, the students stepped into the role of "farmers."👨‍🌾👩‍🌾 By managing their own farmland🌾, they experienced savings💰, investment📈, and risk management⚖️. Throughout the simulation game, they deeply understood the importance of "increasing income and reducing expenditure"💵, while learning how to distinguish between "wants" and "needs."💭

After the event🏁, the students all agreed that this visit not only shattered the stereotype that financial planning is dry and boring💡, but also successfully planted the seeds of healthy money values in their hearts🌱, preparing them for smart consumer choices and future life planning🚀.

💡 利用人工智能 (AI) 進行學生自主學習

上星期六(6月6日)，本校老師應香港教育大學英語教育學系講師的邀請，出席「利用人工智能 (AI) 進行自主學習」為主題的專業交流講座🗣️。

本校英文科老師在講座中分享了可銘學校如何運用人工智能促進學生的英語學習🔠，並透過分享教學策略，如何善用科技提升📈學生的自主學習能力。

💡 Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Student Self‑Directed Learning

Last Saturday (6th June), our teachers were invited by a lecturer from the Department of English Language Education at The Education University of Hong Kong to attend a professional exchange seminar themed “Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Self‑Directed Learning” 🗣️.

During the seminar, our English teachers shared how Ho Ming Primary School leverages AI to enhance students’ English learning 🔠. They also discussed teaching strategies that show how technology can be harnessed to strengthen 📈 students’ ability to learn independently.
