【「山海為一」環境教育計劃2021年小總結】
「山海為一」環境教育計劃不經不覺已經開展兩年半時間了，我們已經：
• 向超過70間中小學校參與了解「山海為一」
• 發布3個初中教案，有近1000名學生在各個科目的課堂上學習「山海為一」
• 出版3個戶外考察教師手册，有超過20團600名學生到下白泥親身體驗「山海為一」同可持續發展
• 培訓28名中學生擔任TNC實習生推廣「山海為一」
• 招募超過140名老師加入教師網絡
• 吸引940位同260位支持者成為「山海為一」Facebook同Instagram粉絲

我們在此預祝大家2022年新年快樂，亦希望大家在新一年從日常生活中去實踐「山海為一」！

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 “𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗳” 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭
The “Ridge to Reef” Environmental Education Programme has been running for 2.5 years. We have already:
• engaged more than 70 schools to understand Ridge to Reef concept
• designed 3 Ridge to Reef lesson plans, with about 1000 junior secondary school students learn about Ridge to Reef in their school classes
• published 3 field trip teacher manuals, with more than 20 tours (600 students) visited Pak Nai to experience Ridge to Reef and sustainable development
• trained up 28 secondary school students as TNC interns to promote Ridge to Reef
• recruited more than 140 teachers into our Educator’s Network
• attracted more than 940 and 260 supporters as our Facebook and Instagram pages’ fans

【白泥互動虛擬考察體驗】
TNC製作及推出了一套白泥的互動虛擬實境教材，讓各老師及同學未能親身到白泥考察的時候都可以足不出戶就能體驗虛擬考察。這套教材共有五部份：包括「山」─ 青山、「河」─ 乾白石澗、「海邊」─ 下白泥泥灘、「海」─ 后海灣流浮山及TNC的蠔殼回收場，大家可以從虛擬實境中的不同層面去探索各種生境及了解「山海為一」的概念。事不宜遲，大家快去試試吧！

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗸 𝗡𝗮𝗶
TNC has just launched a set of interactive virtual reality (VR) pack of Pak Nai, for teachers and students to experience a virtual field trip when they are not able to visit Pak Nai in person. This set of VR pack consists of five parts: "Mountains" - Castle Peak, "River" - Kon Pak Stream, "Seaside" - Ha Pak Nai mudflat, "Sea" - Deep Bay Lau Fau Shan and TNC's Oyster Shell Recycling Site. You can explore various habitats and learn the Ridge to Reef concept from different perspectives of the VR. Try it now!

【賽馬會「山海為一」環境教育計劃閉幕禮暨分享會圓滿舉行】
賽馬會「山海為一」環境教育計劃閉幕禮暨分享會已於上星期六（12月18日）圓滿舉行。我哋非常多謝各位出席嘅老師及學生，與及香港中文大學教育學院課程與教學學系溫慧欣博士、九龍真光中學地理科主任梁桑童老師及地利亞修女紀念學校（吉利徑）生物科主任羅諾勤老師等嘉賓當日嘅分享。

The Jockey Club Ridge to Reef Environmental Education Programme Closing Ceremony and Sharing Session was successfully held last Saturday (December 18). Among the guests were Dr. Sally Wan, Professional Consultant of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction of The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Mr. Michael Leung, Geography Panel Chair of Kowloon True Light School; and Mr. Kevin Law, Panel Head of Biology of Delia Memorial School (Glee Path) who shared their insights with the audience. Thank you very much to all the guests for their sharing, and teachers and students for joining us that day.

由TNC同香港中文大學教育學院課程與教學學系嘅溫慧欣博士合作設計嘅「山海為一」教案已經推出咗啦！一共有4套教案，包括地理科、歷史科及綜合科學科，全部都適用於初中課程。歡迎各老師到TNC嘅山海為一環境教育計劃網頁下載使用。

【2021年暑期實習生開展的項目】
我哋嘅暑期實習生喺學校開展咗唔同嘅項目去推廣「山海為一」，包括製作貼紙同單張分發俾學校嘅同學，亦都設計咗「山海為一」海報，向佢哋嘅朋友宣傳「山海為一」概念同生態系統服務。另外，佢哋喺學校舉辦咗一個小型展覽，展示佢哋喺白泥考察時收集到嘅蠔殼同蠔業用具，以及喺泥灘拍攝到嘅野生動物相片，展示后海灣當地嘅生物多樣性同蠔業。而我哋嘅暑期實習生仲化身大使，喺生物課上向其他高年級學生介紹呢次展覽同「山海為一」保育信息呢！

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀
Our summer interns promoted the Ridge to Reef concept in their school through different projects: they produced some R2R stickers and info sheets and distributed them to their classmates; they also designed an educational poster to promote R2R concepts and ecosystem services to their peers. In addition, the interns set up a mini-exhibition in school with aquaculture debris and oyster shells, collected from field trips to Pak Nai, and wildlife photos of the mudflat, to showcase the local biodiversity and oyster farming industry in Deep Bay. They even acted as the ambassadors to introduce this exhibition and R2R messages to all the senior forms during their biology class.

【小四生考察后海灣　學保護國家水資源】
//部分小四生早前已到白泥鴨仔坑觀察濕地及紅樹林，了解生物多樣。他們應用水循環知識，明白山、河、海之間的關係，在海邊、河流收集水樣本分析和比較數據，亦要觀察泥灘內的小生物。透過學習活動和實地考察，學生發現大自然與自己之間的連結，反思人類行為對水資源的影響，學習珍愛和保護，成為一個有責任的世界公民。//
