The Closing Ceremony of the Social Awareness Project was successfully held on 17th January, 2026 at Raimondi College, marking both the end of a meaningful chapter and the culmination of an inspiring journey.

As the curtains drew to a close, it became evident that the true value of the project lies far beyond its duration. The skills acquired will continue to serve Campers in their future personal endeavours. The relationships formed throughout this journey have created a supportive network of like-minded individuals united by a common purpose.

The Closing Ceremony was a significant milestone that signifies the beginning of a continued commitment to social awareness. As Campers move forward, they carry with them not just memories, but a steadfast dedication to actively contributing to a better world, empowered by the knowledge that even small actions, when multiplied by many, can create meaningful change.

The World Congress was successfully held on 23rd and 24th December, 2025 at Hong Kong Scout Centre.

Centred on the theme of human rights, the Congress offered Campers a unique opportunity to deepen their commitment to unity in the face of diverse global challenges. The event commenced with Campers as Ambassadors representing their respective nations and delivering oral presentations on their research findings, followed by a forum discussion where Ambassadors proposed and debated policies on behalf of their nations.

On the second day, Campers took on the roles of United Nations representatives, and were tasked with forging collaborative partnerships with private enterprises. This segment was designed to strengthen their strategic communication skills, encouraging them to articulate ideas clearly, engage in constructive negotiation, and work collaboratively toward shared goals.

We are honoured to have Mr Ian Yau and Mr Jeffrey Chiang as our esteemed judges. During the Congress, they provided constructive feedback and raised provocative questions that stimulated Campers’ willingness to voice their perspectives, while reinforcing their awareness of the need for tangible action in advancing human rights.

The workshop of the Social Awareness Project (SAP) was held successfully on 29th November, 2025 at Wah Yan College, Hong Kong.

Campers were challenged to investigate pressing global issues by analyzing their root causes and collaboratively formulating potential solutions. This was accomplished through a series of immersive checkpoint tasks that transformed abstract concepts of justice and human dignity into tangible problem-solving scenarios.

The event was further reinforced by a presentation session, where Campers reported their findings on various global issues. A panel of judges provided immediate and probing feedback, designed to stimulate Campers’ critical reflection. Not only does this foster a nuanced understanding of global interconnectedness, but it also empowers Campers with the conviction and perspective to engage as proactive contributors in addressing worldwide challenges.
