𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 - 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻

The third and final PTA Parents Seminar for the academic year was held via Zoom on May 26. We were privileged to have Ms. Renee Lam, a seasoned educational psychologist and SSCPS parent, to give a seminar on ‘Growth Mindset’. Growth mindset refers to seizing and embracing each challenge as opportunity to learn, emphasizing learning, changes and growth over results or performance. Ms. Lam shared many ways on how the growth mindset can be practiced in family, school, sports or social settings and how it is practicable both for our children individually or together with the family.

We would like to express our appreciation to Mr Lo, Mr Tsui and all parents for joining us for this meaningful and inspiring sharing. Please stay tuned for our next parent seminar!

What a truly magical day we shared earlier under glorious blue skies on our vibrant campus!
A huge, heartfelt thank you to every single one of you, your incredible support helped us achieve record-breaking sales of ticket and coupon this year!

The magic happened because of your amazing teamwork: the countless hours spent preparing creative class booths, the energy you brought to every task, and the way parents, children, and friends came together to celebrate. From lively game booths and heartwarming parent-child challenges, to the dazzling magic show, joyful musical performances, and the hilarious chugging competition, every moment overflowed with laughter and connection.

A special shout-out to all our wonderful parent and students volunteers who poured their hearts into every role: reception, the kitchen, ice cream van, kitchen duties, bake sales, and of course, your own class booths! You truly made the day unforgettable for everyone.

Thank you for embodying the beautiful spirit of SSCPS - Be True, Be Kind, and for spreading so much joy, love, and togetherness across our community.

The dinner gathering for our Grade 5 & 6 parents was successfully held last night. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with current St. Stephen’s College school management and parents to gain valuable insights into what to expect as our children transition to College life. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended yesterday's seminar “Learning from the Development of Sports from the 15th National Game” featuring members of the remarkable HKSAR Handball Team. Their incredible achievement of reaching the semi-finals and securing a historic 4th place finish has filled us all with pride.

Coach Hui, who has participated in 5 National Games as player and coach, shared how all HKSAR players have developed strong friendships with athletes from other provincial teams. Outside of competitions, they even train together. It’s like a national family of handball athletes!

Their insights and personal experiences provided invaluable perspectives on the journey to becoming an elite athlete. The discussions about dedication, teamwork, and perseverance inspired parents and students alike.

We hope this seminar has sparked curiosity and motivation in our future athletes.
