During his missions onboard the International Space Station (ISS) in 2016 and 2021, French astronaut Thomas Pesquet spent 12 months in space and took 250,000 photos. Seeing the beauty of the Earth floating in the void, he realized our interconnectedness and the fragility of human existence.

In this movie, we embark on an odyssey through France’s natural landscapes as captured by Thomas from the ISS. An opportunity to gain a unique view of French territories: from the mainland in Europe to the French overseas territories in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans.

We are going to the screening of a classic French comedy movie at the Hong Kong City Hall. The 50th Hong Kong French Film Festival is showing Asterix & Obélix Mission Cleopatra on Saturday 4th December at 5:20pm. If you come with us, you can get reduced price tickets for this movie.
We will all leave from campus and head towards the venue, but if you live off-campus you can still come on your own and join us there! As usual, by joining our activity you will be able to earn some ELAT points and participate in our monthly giveaway (Spotify gift cards, Netflix gift cards, coupons…).



In this funny movie, one small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against Julius Caesar and the Roman Empire. Their crazy adventure will lead them to Egypt and the Queen Cleopatra.
