🌟 Recap: UG Programme Orientation & Open Semester Gathering 🌟

Throwback to Sept 10, 2026! Our Chemistry family came together to kick off the new academic year with energy and excitement! 🧪
✨ We started with insightful speeches and a department introduction to prepare everyone for the journey ahead. A huge thanks to Dr. Emmie Ho, Head of Racing Laboratory at The Hong Kong Jockey Club and Mr. Ronald Wong from our alumni association, Baptist Chemists, for sharing their valuable wisdom! 💞

🎮 Then came the hype! A massive well done to our students who hosted an incredible Ice-Breaking game! 🥳 Every team brought their A-game, coming out to play, answer questions, and compete! Congratulation to the winning team! 🔥

Following the exciting ice-breaking game, award presentations, student sharing, plenty of mingling over dinner, and lovely gifts capped off a brilliant night. It was wonderful to see so many new faces connecting!

Let’s carry this positive energy throughout the semester! 🚀 We are so glad to welcome you to the department. Work hard, play hard, and let's achieve great things together!

The event brought together our incoming cohort and course instructors over a shared dinner to break the ice and build valuable networks🗣️, followed by an insightful orientation session on the MSc in Analytical Chemistry programme—covering graduation requirements, scholarships, exchange opportunities, and our RSC Programme Accreditation.
